(Clearwisdom.net) Cultivating in the Buddha Law requires one to do so wholeheartedly and unconditionally. Doing so with righteous faith also means not having a reason to do so and not counting gains and losses.

Since the beginning of cultivation, Falun Dafa practitioners as a whole body have encountered many ordeals, which have been aimed at shaking our faith and making us having second thoughts and divided loyalties. Even though we do not acknowledge the old forces' arrangements, a lot of bad things would not have happened if we had remained steadfast at all times.

Especially after July 20, 1999, when the wicked CCP regime slandered and smeared our Teacher, did we feel confused, unsure, or even had second thoughts about our faith? Or did we firmly believe that Teacher is innocent and remain unmoved? When they slandered and brought false charges against Dafa, how many people were moved and had second thoughts or split loyalties?

When we allow ourselves to stray from our steadfast faith in Teacher, it will cause us to remain attached to our notions, deviate from what Teacher wants us to do, and even look at those false scriptures that the CCP made up. That will push us onto the wrong path based on our attachments. When we allow ourselves to doubt our fellow practitioners, we start to become suspicious of and blame each other. We forget to look inwards and lack coordination, leading to the entire body of practitioners having loopholes and endangering everyone's safety.

Cultivating with a singular determination, on the other hand, brings forth righteous thoughts. Just like a fellow practitioner said: "We need to continually and repeatedly apply the Fa principles, which we have enlightened to during our cultivation process. No matter how difficult it is, or how many times we have fallen short, we must always try hard to use our divine thoughts. We should temper ourselves and constantly measure where we are with the Fa principles. We cannot use things that we encounter, tests we need to pass, or attachments that need to be abandoned to try to test out whether the Fa principles are correct."

Having divided loyalties is a great shame for a cultivator. Reflecting on my past cultivation path, I discovered to my surprise that my own negative thoughts were partly due to my unsteady faith and having second thoughts. Those caused me to make improper choices between righteous thoughts and human notions, and because of this I was interfered with. It was because of this that I fell short repeatedly of a cultivator's standard and missed out on opportunities to help save people.

Today, sentient beings are constantly being poisoned by this persecution, and this is preventing practitioners from saving them and ending this persecution that should never have happened. Isn't this what all Dafa practitioners should be doing wholeheartedly?
