My Story

I am a Falun Gong practitioner who lives in a village. I am fifty-four years old. I was fortunate to have the chance to learn Falun Gong in 1998. Before this, I had all kinds of illnesses. One of them was that I would suddenly lose consciousness and fall down. Another illness was a pain that would travel to different parts of my body. At one point in time, my neck would hurt, and later my shoulder blade would hurt. Sometimes the pain would travel to my lower back. It was sheer agony. I suffered from heavy bleeding from the uterus three different times, and once I almost died from the bleeding. My pelvic cavity was infected for a long period of time. I also had rheumatism and other issues. My height was 1.67 m (5.5 ft), yet I weighed only 45 kg (99 lb). After I started practicing Falun Gong, all my illnesses disappeared, and my weight increased to 60 kg. I looked radiant and I could do chores on the farm. I had the energy to raise eight pigs in a year. I always wondered if it was not for my good fortune to practice Falun Gong, would I be what I am today? Definitely not!

My son-in-law is a bricklayer. He was supportive of my practice of Falun Gong. When I brought home some Falun Gong amulets, he took some and gave them to other people. One day, when he was working at the construction site in Chongqing, he had an accident. The wooden plank that both he and a co-worker were standing on suddenly broke and gave way. Both of them fell to the ground. The co-worker was badly injured, but my son-in-law was fine. After a while, my son-in-law went to another city to work. The same type of incident happened again. The other co-worker was injured, yet my son-in-law was fine.

My daughter became pregnant, and she felt a lot of pain in her abdomen. After an examination at the hospital, it was diagnosed to be an ectopic pregnancy. After we talked about it, she decided to sincerely recite, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good; Falun Dafa is good!" Twenty days later when my daughter went to the hospital for another check-up, the embryo had moved into the uterus. It was really miraculous!

An Elderly Man Who Had Good Fortune

There was an elderly man who was diagnosed with brain thrombosis a few years ago. He was living in a village in Hebei Province. Last year he was further diagnosed with blockages in his brain's blood vessels. He frequently felt dizzy and had no energy to work. He was in much pain and suffering.

In autumn of last year, two Falun Gong practitioners told him, "If you frequently recite, 'Falun Gong is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' you will have good fortune." He agreed to try it.

One day in June this year, this man was knocked down by a three-wheeler on his way to the market with his grandson. The front wheel of his bicycle was damaged, but both he and his grandson were fine. He told the practitioners about his good fortune and said that he would continue to recite "Falun Gong is good."

Mr. Chen Recovers from Lung Cancer

In January of 2006, an older man with the surname Chen was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer. He was then 76 years old and living in a village in Chaoyang County of Liaoning City. The hospital told him that he would not live beyond three months. He had a daughter who lived in Beijing. As she did not believe the diagnosis of the local doctors, she brought him to a well-known hospital in Beijing for treatment by a specialist. In the end, the same verdict was given: he had just three months to live. The family members were very disappointed and brought him home.

A Falun Gong practitioner who lived in the same village heard about this and came to give him a Falun Gong amulet. The practitioner also clarified the truth about Falun Gong and the miraculous healing effect of Falun Gong. He told Mr. Chen about the wickedness of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the importance of renouncing the party membership. After Mr. Chen heard all this, he agreed with the practitioner and wanted to renounce his membership in the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The practitioner then told him to sincerely recite "Falun Gong is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good". Thereafter, the Mr. Chen did this everyday, and in two months his illness got much better.

His daughter, who lives in Beijing, called at this time to ask about the condition of her father. Her mother told her, "Your father is much better." She could not believe it and asked, "Could it be a wrong diagnosis?" The mother told her, "It was not a wrong diagnosis; it was Falun Gong that has saved your father." Then her mother told her about how her father recited "Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" everyday. His daughter also felt that this was most miraculous.

Three months later, not only was Mr. Chen still alive, he regained his ability to walk and look after himself. He got better and better. It has been about two years, and he is still healthy and self-sufficient.
