When Will My Mom Be Coming Home?

(Clearwisdom.net) "When will my mom be coming home? I miss my mom!" Elementary school student Zhenzhen asks his paternal grandmother and his father, but they always sadly remain silent.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Ma Qingli is Zhenzhen's mother and lives on Shang Street in Yingyang City, Henan Province. On March 28, 2007, Ms. Ma Qingli was suddenly taken to the Sanlizhuang Detention Center in Yingyang City by police officers from the Gaoshan Township and the State Security Division of Yingyang City. Practitioner Ms. Chen Qinglian, about 60 years old, was also arrested at the same time. More than five months have passed and they still have not been released.

Ms. Ma Qingli's parents have both passed away and she lives with her mother-in-law, husband and son. In the past, she and her mother-in-law did not have a harmonious relationship. But ever since Ms. Ma started practicing Falun Dafa, not only has she had a healthy body, but her family environment has also became harmonious. Her mother-in-law said to others, "Qingli now treats me so well!"

After Ms. Ma was forcibly taken to the detention center, her mother-in-law had a hard time sleeping, and had problems with swelling in her leg, along with heart disease and other symptoms of illness. She told everyone she met, "Qingli is a good person! She did only good deeds, so why was she arrested? The day Qingli comes back, my diseases will be cured." Ms. Ma's husband is unable to work because he has to look after his mother and child. The family has no source of income, thus he cannot pay the tuition for his child to go back to school. His mother was seriously ill and was escorted to Beijing for coronary bypass surgery. The money for travel expenses had to be borrowed.

Zhenzhen is extremely lonely now, and has nightmares. He worries about his mother's safety. Zhenzhen knows his mother is only given a small steamed bun for each meal at the detention center, which is not adequate. He knows that the practitioners inside the detention center are all extremely thin. Because many Falun Gong practitioners' organs have been harvested and sold while they were still alive, or they were tortured to death, as soon as he mentions his mother, Zhenzhen becomes choked up and sobs.
