Macau: Practitioners Drive out Interference and Clarify the Facts (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners in Macau have been clarifying the facts about Falun Dafa at tourist sites since 2001. They distribute materials about Falun Dafa and copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Disintegrate Party Culture, exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) evil nature. They also provide services for people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The CCP uses violence and lies to persecute Falun Dafa yet is very afraid of its crimes being brought to light. It has tried to pressure the Macau government and police to extend the persecution of Falun Dafa overseas. Falun Dafa practitioners have, however, remained unmoved, have driven out the interference and have gradually improved the environment in Macau.

Officials of some governmental departments in Macau disregard the law and professional ethics and act as accomplices of the CCP. As a result, the Macau police have intimidated and persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners and have interfered with their truth-clarification activities in Macau. The police even unlawfully issued fines to practitioners. (For each fine, practitioners wrote a letter of refute, pointing out that the police committed an offense, so therefore the fine was invalid and wouldn't be acknowledged.) The police did not permit practitioners to display truth-clarification photos, play a recording of the Solemn Declaration by the Epoch Times [the Solemn Declaration , published on January 12, 2005, discusses the inevitable demise of the CCP and the importance of quitting the CCP organizations] or hang banners. The police even arrested practitioners, threatening to bring charges against them. Practitioners were unaffected and continue to remain steadfast in their truth-clarification efforts on a daily basis despite police harassment.

Over the past years, amidst ups and downs, practitioners have conducted themselves according to the standard of Dafa cultivators, using their firm righteous thoughts and compassion to improve the environment. Practitioners have gradually become mature in cultivation. While facing personnel from various departments and the police officers who came to interfere with them, practitioners clarified the facts, and kindly told them the heavenly principle that good deeds will be rewarded and bad deeds will meet with retribution. Practitioners hoped that the officers wouldn't blindly obey the so-called orders from the higher authorities, but instead implement the rule of law. They also hoped that the police officers would be responsible to themselves and their families, so as to have a bright future.

When faced with problems, practitioners study the Fa, and exchange views and insights, so as to learn lessons from previous experiences. When they have different opinions and viewpoints, they look inside themselves to solve the problem. The practitioners take each incident of interference as an opportunity to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa to government organizations and high-level authorities. At the same time, the practitioners have also exposed some police officers' unlawful interference with practitioners' truth-clarification activities. The practitioners have gradually used various means to help more people learn the truth, including meeting with Members of Parliament, delivering or mailing the Epoch Times newspaper and copies of the Nine Commentaries, as well as publicizing the independent investigation report on the CCP's harvesting of organs from living Falun Dafa practitioners. The practitioners also delivered public letters to relevant government organizations and MPs to further clarify the facts about Falun Dafa.

Through clarifying the facts over the past several years, practitioners have become mature and more and more rational. Even though there is still interference, through practitioners' truth-clarification efforts, sending forth righteous thoughts, studying the Fa and sharing views and experiences and rectifying themselves, the environment keeps getting better. Originally there was only one truth-clarification site at a tourist spot, but later, practitioners set up another site at a pedestrian area downtown. They are there every Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. The second truth-clarification site has been active for one and a half years. The two sites have their unique characteristics. At the first site, there are often groups of tourists who come to visit, while at the pedestrian area downtown, there are many individual tourists and local citizens who often come for shopping. It is also a place frequented by government officials and business people. Moreover, at the pedestrian area, there is a large demand for the Epoch Times, the Nine Commentaries and truth-clarification materials. Sometimes, practitioners demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises, which also has a good effect in introducing Falun Dafa to the public. Both sites provide services for quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. A deputy county head from northeast China quit the CCP at one of the service centers.

Macau Falun Dafa practitioners say that no matter how the situation changes, so long as the evil has not been eliminated and the persecution in China continues, they will continue, and redouble their efforts to bring the good message of Falun Dafa to more people.
