Three Older Women Learn to Use the Computer to Visit the Clearwisdom Website

(Clearwisdom.net) The three older ladies in this story have little schooling. As their cultivation levels and their awareness of the need to validate Dafa arose, they developed the wish to find out how to visit the Minghui/Clearwisdom website on the Internet for themselves.

Ms. Wang had never touched a computer mouse. A fellow practitioner helped her learn how to start the computer, enter website addresses and use software that breaks through China's Internet blockade to reach Falun Dafa websites. She is now able to visit the Minghui/Clearwisdom website every day. Ms. Wang is very happy, because she can now read Master's new articles without delay, and peruse cultivation experience sharing articles from many fellow practitioners.

Ms. Wang began studying Falun Dafa in early 1999. She went to the exercise site every day to attend group study and do the exercises. The Chinese Communist Party started the senseless crackdown of Falun Gong a few months later. Ms. Wang knew two of the practice site assistants who were illegally arrested overnight. She heard later on that hundreds of practitioners and assistants were arrested in Mainland China that night. All of China was under terror. The peaceful practice environment was destroyed. Although Ms. Wang's Falun Gong practice was relatively brief, she continued to believe that there is nothing wrong with "Zhen, Shan, Ren," based on her understanding of Zhuan Falun and her improved physical state. Ms. Wang continues to do the exercises alone every day.

She eventually made some inquiries and discovered that one of the two practice site assistants died as a result of persecution. The other one was kept in prison the whole time. Ms. Wang regretted then that she had not found out how to get in touch with other practitioners. She eventually moved to another city where it was more difficult for her to hear about fellow practitioners' information, and she was unable to share experiences with other practitioners. She became depressed. She even set the exercise music volume to very loud for several days while doing the exercises, hoping that fellow practitioners would hear the music and come to contact her. Our gracious Master takes care of every single disciple! Eventually Ms. Wang got in touch with one practitioner and obtained Master's new articles. She also saw the "Minghui Weekly." She became aware of and started to do the three things that Dafa disciples should do. Ms. Wang now felt her daily life being greatly enriched.

One day, however, Ms. Wang heard that the elderly gentleman who delivered the Minghui Weekly had been illegally arrested and she again lost her connection to the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. She remembered some stories published in Minghui Weekly about some elderly Dafa disciples visiting the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. She wanted to get to the website herself. She cleaned up her child's unused computer and eventually found a practitioner who knoew how to get onto the Internet. She made an appointment with that practitioner and it took her only one hour to learn how to get onto the Internet. She found that visiting the Minghui/Clearwisdom website is actually easy. What had prevented her was the notion in her mind. Ms. Wang heard recently that several older practitioners who live in her previous hometown haven't seen the Minghui Weekly for a while. She taught herself how to change ink and print downloaded materials at home. She then printed a few copies of the Minghui Weekly to give to fellow practitioners to read and distribute to others.

Another older practitioner, Ms. Xu, went to a computer training class. After a few weeks' study she grasped basic computer operation skills. She installed broadband Internet service. She also got the web link for a dynamic website from a fellow practitioner. After she got on to the dynamic website, she downloaded the software to break through the Internet blockade. Since then, Ms. Xu can also visit the Minghui/Clearwisdom website every day.

Ms. Li is another older disciple. She has practiced for many years. After she moved to a new city, she went back and forth several times per year to her former hometown, several thousand miles away. She visited her old friends and shared experiences with fellow practitioners. She also picked up Dafa materials so that she could follow the Fa-rectification progress and do the three things consistently. Because her notion of inferiority due to her low education level and the difficulties to get onto the Internet had blocked her, she and other older practitioners in her neighborhood didn't think of getting onto the Minghui/Clearwisdom website by themselves from their own homes. This time, she experienced the process of visiting the Clearwisdom website at Ms. Wang's home. She also learned of Ms. Wang's experiences. Ms. Li decided to try to get onto the Clearwisdom website herself when she got home.
