Rhode Island, USA: People Are Attracted to Falun Gong at Health Expo (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) NBC10 sponsored a Health Expo at the Rhode Island Convention Center on September 15 and 16, 2007, and thousands of people attended. This was the first time Falun Gong practitioners had been invited to participate. The sponsor and other participants praised the practitioners for displaying truth-clarification photos and teaching people how to make folded paper lotus flowers. Many people stopped by the booth to find out more information about Falun Gong.

Falun Gong practitioners teach people how to make folded paper lotus flowers while they tell them about the persecution in China.

A continuous stream of people visited the Falun Gong booth. They nodded their heads upon hearing about "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and said that was what people need today. University professors, kindergarten teachers and nurses warmly invited Falun Gong practitioners to teach the Falun Gong in their work places. People asked about local exercise sites in Rhode Island.

One woman was very excited after hearing an introduction to Falun Gong. She said, "It is a great cultivation practice! I have been looking for a long time just to learn this practice!" She held the introductory materials as if she were holding a treasure and continued to ask more questions. Her husband said in surprise, "I have never seen my wife so excited." Falun Gong practitioners gave her a paper lotus flower, and she was very grateful.
