(Clearwisdom.net) On September 23, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Los Angeles held a press conference at Santa Monica State Beach to expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) practice of harvesting organs from living practitioners for profit and collected signatures to protest the persecution.

Santa Monica State Beach is a very famous tourist spot. Practitioners have been re-enacting the organ harvesting at the beach since April 2006 in order to raise awareness of these atrocities.

Many people have learned the truth about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution from the re-enactments. People ask what Falun Gong is and why the CCP persecutes it. Most people sign their names to support the practitioners' efforts after learning the truth.

A Chinese family told the practitioners: "We know about the persecution. Some of our neighbors that practice Falun Gong were arrested. The persecution is wrong and we support you."

An American gentleman said to practitioners that some American companies that are doing business with China may not want information about the persecution to be exposed. Practitioners said: "Everybody has to make a choice between money and justice." The American gentleman agreed.

Some people already knew about the organ harvesting and asked how they could help.
