The Miracles That Occurred for My Mother and Me

(Clearwisdom.net) I live in Shandong Province, and my family calls me Little Five. Because I had peripheral neuritis, numbness in my hand, colitis, a kidney stone, and headaches, my body was very weak and I weighed only 88 pounds. I took so many medications every day that people called me the "medicine bottle." In 2005, I had the good fortune to come upon Falun Dafa and I started cultivating. All my diseases disappeared and my weight increased to 110 pounds. I really thank my master Li Hongzhi from the bottom of my heart.

When I first started practicing the exercises, Master began cleansing my body right away. That day I had to use the bathroom five or six times. I also threw up. Later on I enlightened that my colitis was being eliminated from the root. On the second day, I ate some bananas. I didn't feel any pain and my whole body felt light.

When my mother noticed the miracles that were happening to me, she started practicing Falun Gong, too. One day she fell and broke her leg and was sent to the hospital. Her voice sounded strained from the pain her broken leg had caused. When I heard about it, I rushed to the hospital and suggested my mother to say "Falun Dafa is good" with all her heart. An hour later my mother became very energetic, and her tone had changed, too. My sister's husband said, "I really admire Little Five, and I really admire Falun Gong. Falun Dafa is so wonderful! I know it was Master's compassion that saved my mother."

When the hospital staff were getting ready to perform surgery on my mother, they hesitated. She was 78 years old, and her diabetes could cause difficulties for her to heal after surgery. She had heart disease, and had just recovered from cerebral thrombosis. The whole family met to discuss if my mother should have the surgery. My sister's husband said, "I don't have any problem with the expense; I don't need to be given any discounts." I said, "It's not the money, but if mother would practice Falun Gong wholeheartedly, there would be hope."

My mother agreed not to have the surgery. Within 10 days, she was discharged from the hospital. When she came out, another practitioner and I started reading the Fa to her. Eventually, my mother understood the principles talked about in Falun Dafa that taking medicine wouldn't cure an illness, rather, it would be shifted. Either you'll get it now or you'll get it later. My mother listened to Master's lectures every day and practiced the exercises. Now, whenever she eats cold watermelons, peaches, and popsicles, she never feels cold, nor does she have any stomachaches.

My husband didn't want me practicing Falun Gong, but he saw my mother's poor health change after cultivating. She used to take medications every day for her uncontrolled high blood pressure, but now she doesn't and she never feels dizzy. Her heart disease was also gone, and even her diabetes disappeared without a trace. Now my husband supports me in my cultivation. Sometimes he tells his friends, "Falun Gong is really amazing." He has quit the party and has even persuaded others to quit the party, too.

I hope that everyone with a predestined relationship will get to know "Falun Dafa is good" and quit the party. Then, when disaster strikes, you will be saved.
