Dallas, Texas: Rally to Support the 26 Million Chinese Who Have Quit the CCP (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 22, 2007, the Dallas Service Center for Quitting the CCP and the Epoch Times Dallas Office held a rally in Chinatown to support the 26 million Chinese people who have quit the CCP. The Texas Divine Land Marching Band, which had won First Prize at this year's Independence Day parade in Arlington, Texas, performed at the rally to help the spread the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and information on how to quit the CCP.

Rally to Support Quitting the CCP in Dallas, Texas

As soon as Service Center volunteers opened up the banners about quitting the CCP, an older Chinese person came over and picked up a copy of the Nine Commentaries. The man said he understood the CCP all too well and had been through the Land Reform, the Three-Antis/Five-Antis Campaigns, Suppression of the Counter-revolutionaries, the Four Clean-ups Movement, the Cultural Revolution, and the Tiananmen Square Massacre. He said the CCP is too evil and has persecuted too many Chinese people, and that this was the reason he came to the U.S. to get away. He said he still has relatives in China and can't yet openly speak out to support quitting the CCP. Many people who drove by the rally gave the thumbs up to show their support.

Ms. Yang, the host of the rally, said, "Since the Epoch Times published the Nine Commentaries and triggered the wave of quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations, the CCP has lived in fear. Twenty-six million people quitting the CCP means 26 million awakened minds and the end of the CCP."

Ms. Zhang, a volunteer at the Dallas Service Center, talked about the CCP's political corruption, the economic boom in China at the cost of destroying its ecology and natural resources, and how the CCP brainwashes its people and distorts their moral values, which eventually leads to numerous crimes within society. Ms. Zhang said, "The CCP is bound to be eliminated. All their phony drugs, poisonous barley, toothpaste, and toys have come to the U.S. These products not only damage China's reputation but also that of the companies China does business with. Problems with illegal products have long been known but were concealed. The problems keep on getting exposed because they can't be covered up anymore. It's time God eliminated the CCP."

Dr. Li, a representative from the Epoch Times Dallas edition, said, "Many people, including those who live in China, know the CCP is evil. The Nine Commentaries thoroughly discloses the CCP's true nature-- it's an evil spirit that possesses the land of China and the Chinese people. Only when people understand its evil nature and choose to leave it will there be hope for China and its people."

Dr. Wu, a representative from NTDTV Dallas said at the rally, "The CCP uses the mutant culture it created in China-- Party Culture-- to control Chinese citizens and ruin the heritage of traditional Chinese culture. What remains of culture now is 'fighting with heaven and earth and torturing the people.' NTDTV and other responsible media shoulder the mission of bringing back traditional Chinese culture. Through round-the-clock programming, especially the Chinese New Year Spectacular, the Chinese Classical Dance Competition, and the vocal music and culinary arts competition series, NTDTV wants to restore China's divine culture. We believe eliminating the Party Culture will make every Chinese person see through the real nature of the CCP and quit it in order to bring back our culture and moral values."

Mr. Rich Rangel from the English Epoch Times encouraged everyone to understand the Nine Commentaries and see what a catastrophe the CCP has brought to humankind. Rangel hoped that Chinese more people will learn about the wave of people quitting the CCP and take the opportunity to save themselves.

Mr. Kai Liang, a medical doctor, said, "The CCP uses violence and lies to force Chinese citizens to agree to the persecution of Falun Gong. The CCP has threatened practitioners' families and prohibited them from telling others how their own family members were persecuted because they practice Falun Gong. The CCP also persecutes the righteous people who dare to stand up and speak out for Falun Gong. For example, attorney Gao Zhisheng and his family are being persecuted and harassed by the government constantly. As of now they still don't have any personal freedom.

"In deceiving the Chinese people, the CCP utilizes various means to cut off all channels that can help people understand the truth of the persecution. The CCP brutally suppresses practitioners and righteous people who spread information about the persecution, and blocks independent media such as the Epoch Times, NTDTV, and Sound of Hope Radio. The CCP spent so much money building the "Golden Shield" to block information on the Internet, wanting to filter out and cover up the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. However, the truth will be revealed."
