Canadian VIPs Send Best Wishes to Mid-Autumn Spectacular (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Divine Performing Arts will present the Mid-Autumn Spectacular at the Toronto Center of the Arts on September 27-28, 2007. The Falun Dafa Association of Canada, sponsor of the Spectacular, received greetings and best wishes from government officials in Toronto.

Mr. Zhang Zhaojin, a spokesperson from the Falun Dafa Association of Canada, said that the Mid-Autumn Spectacular has received wide support from different levels of the Canadian government and MPs. Many government representatives had attended the Chinese New Year Spectacular presented by Divine Performing Arts in five major cities of Canada, and they very much appreciated the philosophy and achievement of Divine Performing Arts.

MP and former Immigration Minister Judy Sgro extended her greetings and best wishes to everyone gathered at the Spectacular. She said in her letter, "The traditions of Chinese culture are reflected in today's celebration through performance in music, dance; displaying your pursuit of beauty, spirituality, and integrity. I wish you all happy festivities."

MP of Brampton West and Critic for Multiculturalism of Liberal Party Colleen Beaumier said in her greeting letter that the Chinese community was playing an increasingly important role in Canadian life. The Chinese culture was active and rich in spiritual cultivation and history. She said it was very important for our multiculturalism.

MP of Don Valley West and former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada John Godfrey said in his greeting letter that he hoped all would enjoy the special performance by the renowned Divine Performing Arts. He believed the performance would make the festival more memorable and significant.

MP Roy Cullen of Etobicoke North said in his greeting letter, "I am very pleased to congratulate the Falun Dafa Association of Canada for organizing the Divine Performing Arts' Mid-Autumn Spectacular in recognition of Chinese cultural heritage and Canada's multicultural society. Please accept my very best wishes for your continued success."

Mr. Zhang Zhaojin said, "The performance by Divine Performing Arts will bring a happy Mid-Autumn Festival to Canada and people of all ethnic groups."
