Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Wu Xia Has Been Illegally Detained for Three Months

(Clearwisdom.net) Her co-workers had reported Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wu Xia in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Two Taiwanese managers sent her to the Wujiang City Detention Center where she has been held for almost three months. Ms. Wu firmly believes in Master and Dafa, does not cooperate with the evildoers and refused to be "reformed." According to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) so-called "law," after three months in detention a trial needs to be held.

Ms. Wu Xia is 27 years old and is from Shandong Province. She previously worked for the Huawei Company in Shenzhen City and was sent to the First Taijinbao Factory (a supplier in Suzhou City) to work on quality control. Peng Weifeng, another employee sent to the Taijinbao Company from the Huawei Company, found out that Wu Xia was a Falun Gong practitioner, and he reported Wu Xia to her manager.

Ms. Wu Xia was clarifying the truth through QQ on the Internet and was reported. Ms. Wu was on nightshift at 12:00 a.m. on June 1, 2007. Two Taiwanese managers used the pretense of Wu Xia visiting "illegal websites" and took her to the police station. The next day the police transferred her to the Wujiang City Detention Center.

Taijinbao is a Taiwanese-owned company. The Taiwanese managers do not understand the severity of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Even presently, the company still silently permits police department agents to investigate their company's employees.

The Shenzhen Huawei Company sent two managers, Liu Jian and Wang Dong, to Taijinbao to investigate this incident. They did not see Wu Xia when they went to the police station.

Fellow practitioners are asked to please reach out to these two people, to explain the truth to them and actively work with Wu Xia's family to ask for her release. Please, also clarify the truth to Peng Weifeng and help him stop his wrongdoings.

One of the conditions for being an employee at the Huawei Company is to not express any political views. Otherwise, if something happens, the implication policy applies.
