Ms. Liu Ying Taken Away by Director of Daqing People's Hospital Zhang Tiehui and Police

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 23, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., Zhang Tiehui, the Director of Daqing City People's Hospital and Harbin Medical University's Fifth Hospital, coordinated the illegally arrest of Ms. Liu Ying while she was at work. The arrest was carried out with the help of Zhang's brother, a police officer, and Liu Rong, a plainclothes agent from the city's Public Security Bureau. Liu Ying's home and office were ransacked, and her computer and personal belongings were illegally seized by police in the raid.

Liu Ying was taken to the Daqing City Public Security Bureau's state security sub-brigade. For thirty hours she was deprived of sleep and bound to an iron chair. Liu Ying was then transferred to the Daqing City First Detention Center.

As a practitioner of Falun Dafa, Liu Ying holds herself to the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." In the hospital where she is employed, Ms. Liu displayed an exemplary work ethic. She is well-liked and widely appreciated.

Zhang Tiehui, following orders from CCP officials, had Liu Ying arrested and taken to Harbin Women's Drug Abuse Correctional Center for persecution. In addition, he forbade her relatives from visiting her and ordered Ren Quizhi, who is in charge of the office of injections, to monitor Liu Ying's every move. Ren Guizhi even boasted, "I have Liu Ying under my full control. I can do whatever I want to anytime; if I want to torture her, I can." Zhang Tiehui forced Liu Ying to do the filthiest and least desirable jobs in the patient wards. While other workers received bonus pay once a month anywhere from several hundred yuan up to a thousand yuan, Liu Ying was paid a little more than a hundred yuan in total even though she often helped to do other people's work.

Under Zhang Tiehui's instigation, the following people have participated in the ongoing persecution of Liu Ying:

Zhou Shujuan, assistant to the director;

Zhao Changkun, security officer;

Zhang Feng, secretary of a Communist Party Committee, deputy director;

Ren Shuping, outpatient department manager;

Shao Peishuang, outpatient department secretary;

Ma Jingbo, office manager;

Kang Guiqin, acting chief nurse, gynecology.

Liu Ying was arrested several times simply because of her steadfast belief in Falun Gong and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." Both she and her family have endured intense and unjust suffering.
