France: European Divine Land Marching Band Performs in New Year Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 29, 2007, the European Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of 120 Falun Gong practitioners from more than ten European countries, participated in the New Year Parade in Paris. There was also a group of Falun Gong practitioners demonstrating the exercises in the parade.

Two parades were held on December 29. The first one was in the morning and went through the Thirteenth District and Place D' Italie. The second one was in the afternoon and went through Belleville, the Third District and Place de la Republique.

The Divine Land Marching Band performed several pieces including "Falun Dafa Is Good," "Fa Drums and Fa Trumpets," "The Fa Rectifies the Universe," "Blessing," and "Ode to Joy." Some citizens told reporters that they heard the music while they were in their homes, so they came out to see the performance. Spectators said that the music was very powerful and Falun Gong practitioners' group looked wonderful.
