ATLANTIC CITY, NEW JERSEY--The Holiday Wonders closed a successful run Sunday night in Atlantic City before an enthusiastic, cosmopolitan audience.

Wherever the audience members were from and whatever their native language, they agreed the Holiday Wonders delivered great entertainment and a beautiful message.

Sakshi Dhamija said, "The show is awesome! The movements and expression of the dancers fully conveyed the message. There were no words necessary.

The movement of the hands was just lovely! The costumes are very beautiful, and the music is light and soothing. After the hectic time over the holidays, this is very relaxing--it's what we were looking for.

Ronald Meier, the Chairman of the board and CEO of Community Bank, said "I love it. It made me cry a little, when I saw the girl went to heaven with Buddha. It's easy to understand the story. When the Buddha comes from heaven, it's full of emotion. I have always loved music. This music is gentle. I love it."

Rebaro Soheli is a dentist from Italy. He said, "I am a tourist here. I happened to see the information from the Atlantic City local newspaper. I came. I don't speak much English. This performance is very, very nice. I liked the drum very much. This is the most beautiful show I have ever seen."

Linda Short is a school teacher for blind children. She said, "Just like in an Opera house, even if you don't understand the language and the words, you can feel it. Just like watching this dance, you can feel it. You feel the expression, the movement, you feel the emotion, the value in it.

"The dance itself is elegant, charming, and peaceful. I have never been in China. But I feel I am part of it now. I am a very spiritual, very religious person. The dance made me feel peaceful just like in a church."

Patricio Calelos came from Quito, Euador and already had an interest in Chinese culture. He spoke in Spanish and said, "I liked it a lot! I had traveled to China before, and saw some shows over there, but this show today is the best Chinese show I have seen. The singing, the dancing--I loved everything!"

Paola and Paul Caelos are also from Equador. Paul said, "We liked the Forsythia in Spring the best. It had a lot of expression and was very delicate. The hand gestures in Chinese dance are very, very pretty. We have never seen a Chinese cultural show before, so everything was new to us."

Fred is an electrical engineer. He said, "We got a flyer in the lobby. We decided to check it out. I enjoyed it very much. The costumes are so nice."

Brian Cooper of New York said, "I loved the costumes, and enjoyed the drums and the opera singer Hong Ming. The dancers were graceful, dainty and gentle, like swans or beautiful birds. Altogether it was a wonderful mixture."

Anne Golden of Long Island, New York said, "The drums were fantastic! The dancers were very gentle and very controlled at the same time. I grew to respect Chinese culture."

New Tang Dynasty T.V. and the Divine Performing Arts Company produce The Holiday Wonders . Divine Performing Arts will present the Chinese New Year Spectacular Jan. 4-6 in Philadelphia. See http://www.bestchineseshows.com/ for details.
