Practitioner Ms. Li Yajie Illegally Arrested In Daqing City--Ms. Su Guifan Forced to Leave Home

(Clearwisdom.net) Two Falun Gong practitioners from Daqing City were recently persecuted by the police from Honggang District Police Department. Ms. Li Yajie, 58, was illegally arrested and Ms. Su Guifan, in her sixties, was forced to leave home to avoid being persecuted.

Ms. Li Yajie is a resident of the Zuoyelou Area, which is part of the 4^th Oil Production Factory in the Honggang District. On December 17, 2007, when she was leaving her house in the afternoon, she was arrested. Later that afternoon her daughter realized that she was missing and tried to look for her. She eventually discovered that her mother had been arrested. At around 11:00 p.m., the police came again, ransacked the residence, and took Falun Gong books. Ms. Li is being held at the Daqing City Detention Center.

On that same day, at around 3:00 p.m., the police barged into the Fifth Area of the 4^th Oil Production Factory. Ms. Su Guifan was not at home at the time, so the police failed in their arrest attempt. That night, one female and four male police officers came with an arrest warrant and once again barged into the residence, but they were also not successful. Ms. Su's aged mother (in her nineties) was so frightened that she couldn't stop trembling. The authorities took away a few Falun Dafa materials. Ms. Su Guifan cannot return home or she will be arrested.
