Audience of the Final Spectacular Show in Dallas: The Divine Performing Arts Display Beautiful Culture and Values

(Clearewisdom.net) On January 9, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts concluded its three shows at Nokia Theater in Dallas, Texas. The audience highly praised the performances and were deeply moved.

Mr. Bill Martin from the Dallas Art Association said, "I like all of it. It is so beautiful, the way it relays not only the beauty from the culture, but also some of the values."

Many audience members indicated that they were touched by the dance performance "The Power of Awareness," which depicted the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party and that the public were awakened and stepped forward to stop it.

Ronald Jones, mayor of a city in Texas, said he especially liked "The Power of Awareness." "The program touched my heart. It reminds me that whatever happens in life, however difficult it is, whatever challenges there are, whoever opposes or mistreats you, there will surely be someone to protect and rescue you. These people may be those you never know. But you can be assured that goodness will prevail."

Doctor Rosemary Mccoy most liked the dance "The Risen Lotus Flower." "The lady Falun Gong practitioner was beaten to death for protecting her colleague, and then she rose to heaven after death. That was wonderful."

Texas State Representative Kirk England said that the show was successful in presenting the persecution of Falun Gong in a way that non-Chinese can understand. He commended Falun Gong practitioners for being steadfast in the face of persecution.

One audience member said she visited China and knew a lot about Falun Gong, "I heard many stories about Falun Gong. Arresting Falun Gong practitioners is not right. They are such kind people. It is such a shame that the Chinese government does not allow the freedom of belief."

Another audience member said, "The persecution of Falun Gong is horrible. People should know what is going one. Persecution is wrong. People should awaken and stop the persecution, just like they do in the dance performance, stepping forward against the persecution."

Insurance agent Mr. Chen said, "I feel that I now have a better understanding about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. We must not simply stand by when this is happening."
