After seeing the show, MP Poilievre commented that it was really splendid. He said the colors, music, and the collaboration between the actors were all amazing, and the orchestra was also awesome. He was astounded by the skill of the director and the sophisticated techniques used in the show.

MP Poilievre was deeply impressed by the portion of the show that portrayed the brutal persecution of Falun Gong. He said that we should stand up to stop the persecution and that the show clearly conveyed this information through it artistry. "Every part of show was great," he said, and he was glad to see the depictions of Falun Gong, which passed along strong and beautiful messages.

Because of an important appointment later that night, MP Poilievre had to leave after the intermission. He said he wished that he could stay, because the show was excellent and very impressive.MP Poilievre said that he would recommend the show to his friends. He said he had missed it last year, but someone told him that he must go this year. He was very glad that he had been able to make it.

As to the Chinese Communist Party's attempts to interfere with the Spectacular performances, MP Poilievre said he would ignore them, because Canada is a free country. He said that is why he was happy to be a member of the present government, because Prime Minister Harper and the conservative government protects people's freedom worldwide, including supporting Falun Gong practitioners and basic human rights around the world. He said he is proud of what his government has been doing.
