Asking People to Quit the CCP and Saving People with Righteous Thoughts From the Fourth Internet Experience Sharing Conference for Practitioners in China By a practitioner from China
(Clearwisdom.net) Greetings, Master! Greetings, Fellow Practitioners! Greetings, Everyone! I obtained the Fa before the persecution began on July 20, 1999. I
clarified the truth extensively, but after the Nine Commentaries
on the Communist Party was published, when I tried to persuade people to
withdraw from the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations, I had fear
in my heart. Instead of withdrawing, the people I approached said that I was
getting "political" and that I was "anti-Party" and
"anti-government." Faced with their misunderstanding and rejection, I
became very upset. By coincidence, I came across the article "Turning the Wheel Towards the
Human World", in which Master said: "In addition, only when Dafa disciples are able to clearly recognize
it for what it is, purge it from their minds and no longer let it interfere
with their thinking, can they have stronger righteous thoughts and do well
what Dafa disciples should do; it is a step in cultivation that you have to
take " After reading Master's article, I enlightened to the reason behind my failing
to persuade people to withdraw from the CCP. My righteous thoughts were not
strong enough, and I still did not know the true evil nature of the beast. In
order to fundamentally get rid of the evil CCP's poison and its culture embedded
in me, I immediately made a public statement to quit the CCP and its affiliated
organizations. I read the Nine Commentaries and watched the DVD seven times in a row.
I looked inward. This is how I got rid of quite a lot of the evil Party's poison
and unrighteous thoughts. At the same time I increased the time I devoted to
reciting the Fa and repeatedly studied the article "We Are Not 'Getting
Political.'" Master said: "Dafa is saving people. Dafa disciples are compassionate. For the sake
of mankind's future, they are telling the world's people the facts of the
persecution so that people may see clearly the persecution's wickedness, and
that is stopping the persecution.... We are cultivators, people walking the
road to godhood, we transcend the human world, and we neither seek nor covet
the fame and profit found in this world. We expose the evildoers and that vile
party in order to stop the wicked persecution, and it is done to awaken and
save the sentient beings who have been deceived by the evil." The Fa gave me righteous thoughts. The Fa gave me the courage to advise
people to withdraw from the CCP in a open and dignified manner. The Fa let me
have compassion for the world's people. The Fa fundamentally change my attitude
so that I could spread the Nine Commentaries, save sentient beings, and
keep up with the Fa-rectification. In the article "We Are Not 'Getting Political,'" Master said: "If our efforts to stop and expose the persecution by evildoers and
the CCP are now being labeled as getting political, then we might as well
spell things out completely--like what Falun Gong is, what the malevolent CCP
is, and why the malevolent CCP wants to persecute Falun Gong." So I have been following Master's instructions, exposing the CCP persecution
and clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. I tell people that, before I
practiced, I was very sick. When I was in a hospital 12 years ago, it cost me
over 17,000 yuan. But since obtaining the Fa, I have not spent a
penny on medical expenses. Now that my work colleagues have seen the positive
changes in me, they say that they will learn after they retire. Now, whether it is early or late, everywhere I go I talk to people about
quitting the CCP. In shopping centers, supermarkets, and markets, to
pedestrians, construction workers, patients and their family members, doctors
and nurses in hospitals, waiters, waitresses, other customers, and even managers
in restaurants. I take the initiative to greet people. This is the first step in clarifying
the truth and asking people to withdraw from the CCP. Performing a kind act is a
good way to begin communicating. For example, when I help carry bags on my
bicycle for people who walk home from the market, I can clarify the truth to
them. They are often ready to accept my suggestion and agree to withdraw from
the CCP while expressing their thanks. I help people, young and old, across the street. I help push baby carriages
for mothers with bags. When they extend their thanks, I tell them that I
practice Falun Gong and our Master has told us to be good. I clarify the truth
to them and ask them to withdraw from the CCP. This has met with a high degree
of success. One young mother was yelling at her child as they were walking down the
street. The child was crying. I walked over to them and gently stroked his head.
I said to the mother kindly, "Please don't treat your child like
that." My kindness touched her and she said, "My mother said the same
to me." Instantly our conversation became agreeable, I was able to clarify
the truth to her, and she ended up agreeing to withdraw from the CCP. One young fellow was fixing the chain on his bike on the side of the road,
and I helped him. When the chain was fixed, he also agreed to quit the CCP. He
thanked me even as he rode away. When I see middle-aged or young people in smart clothes, I open a
conversation with them by asking directions. When they reply, I thank them and
say, "You are so kind. Where do you work?" According to their answer,
I continue the conversation with interests relating to them to get their
attention. If the person is middle aged, the topic will be family and work; if
young, it will be his future; if an official, it will be his future position and
the problems of being an official. Using different topics, I clarified the truth to a deputy director of the
Judicial Bureau who once held a position in a forced labor camp, a section chief
of a prison, policemen, and a political commissar in a forced labor camp. When
clarifying the truth to the political commissar, I said to her, "Ancient
people said, 'Whenever you have a thought, Heaven and Earth know it; if good is
not rewarded and evil not punished, the universe must be selfish.'" She
said, "I know you are an intellectual. Thank you very much." Finally I
said to her, "When you leave work and change out of your uniform, if you
come across Falun Gong practitioners who give you flyers, please do not refuse
them. If one day you are asked to withdraw from the CCP using an alias, please
nod your head to agree. You will be blessed." She accepted my words with a
smile. She shook my hand as I left. Some of the people I have talked to have not
withdrawn, but I have laid the foundation for their possible resignation later
on. Sometimes it is difficult to persuade people to quit the CCP. I had a
classmate from secondary school who graduated from a military college. He stayed
in the army for quite a few years and then transferred to be an official in a
local work unit. He was a mix of intellectual, military, a Party member, and an
official and was very stubborn as a result. He was obsessed with the evil Party.
The first time I went to his home to clarify the truth to him, he didn't listen
and didn't accept the Nine Commentaries booklet. He reminded me not to
make political mistakes and never to do anything against the Communist Party.
When I returned home I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the Communist
evil spirit behind him and the poisonous factors in his mind and to eliminate
the evil that would destroy him. Several days later I went to his home again. He
was very different, friendly and ready to listen and accept the Nine
Commentaries, DVDs, and other pamphlets. Some days later I went to see him
for the third time. It was a hot day, and when he saw I was sweating he handed
me a towel. In less than half an hour, he made up an alias and withdrew from the
CCP. But there are truly wicked people. One day I clarified the truth in a market.
The person who listened withdrew from the CCP but an elderly lady standing
beside him became very angry and yelled at me, "You Falun Gong people, you
are against the Communist Party. I will report you." I said to her,
"Elder Sister, you look kind. Would you do such a terrible thing?" I
told myself she was a being fundamentally composed of "Truthfulness,
Compassion, Forbearance." As a result her anger dissipated and she smiled,
"Am I kind? I am kind!" She was surprised and excited. One night I clarified the truth to a member of the National Security Bureau,
and he resigned from the CCP. When he saw me the next evening, he called out to
me, "It is not a good day. You'd better go home early." As I passed
him, I saw the two men with him were in uniform and realized he was warning me.
Everywhere I went, I clarify the truth to people. When the shopping centers are
quiet, I talk to the assistants. When my family goes to restaurants, I try to
persuade the waiters and the people sitting around me to withdraw. When my
parents were in the hospital, I talked to all our relatives and friends as they
came to visit. During holidays and festivals, all the relatives who came to
visit withdrew from the CCP. Master's words: "I sincerely hope that all sentient beings will be saved!... I
sincerely hope that all the people of the world can be clear on the
truth" (from "My Thanks to Sentient Being Who Have Sent
Greetings") keep ringing in my ears. With the progress of the Fa-rectification, my memorizing the Fa,
and my cultivation, my thoughts are more and more pure and righteous, so when I
ask people to withdraw from the CCP and try to save sentient beings, miracles
happen. Recently while I was out, someone came up to me and asked, "You
work in such and such bureau. How come you look so familiar?" I knew it was
a person with a pre-destined relationship, so I said, "I feel like I have
seen you somewhere." This is the way I start a conversation with strangers,
but this time the other party came to me. How could I not save him? I clarified
the truth to him and he quit the CCP. One day I was riding my bike, and a peasant worker chased me and shouted,
"Falun Gong! Falun Gong! Please stop and help me to withdraw from the CCP."
I stopped and asked him what organization he wanted to quit. He said, "The
Young Pioneers." I asked him why and he told me that the Communist Party
was making him poor. When I gave him the Nine Commentaries and other
truth-clarifying materials he opened them instantly, then brought three or four
more people to me. They all quit the CCP as a result. One day I was clarifying the truth outside a shopping center. Several groups
of people were looking my way and smiling. I truly felt that under Dafa's
righteous thoughts, people were extending their hands to be saved. Whenever I
saw people who leave without knowing the truth, in my heart I felt very
regretful. When I was writing this article, the DVD of Master's "Fa-Teaching
Given to the Australian Practitioners" on August 4, 2007, was
released. I watched it twice. My heart cried out for the people that were swept
away by gusts of water and not saved. Master mentioned "rescue people"
and "saving people." Master's new lecture was a stern warning to me. I felt extremely ashamed. In
conflicts I was not willing to look within, and not willing to find my own
shortcomings when in pain. I didn't regard the tribulations in cultivation as a
good thing. I always wanted to tell the other party that he was not right when
he swore at me and hit me. Is this cultivation? Can I cultivate like this? I
warned myself: "I should never, ever become the useless iron that cannot be
hardened into steel." If I want to be worthy of Master's compassion and be toughened and hardened
into a piece of steel, I should listen to Master: I should look inward and
cultivate myself. I'd like to end my article with Master's Fa from "Fa
Teaching at the US Capital:" "Aside from what you as individuals need to go through and establish
on your final road to Consummation, what is most important for you and most
significant right now is to save people.... The focus for you right now is
simply to find ways to do better, to be more efficient, to have a greater
