Take Good Advantage of Our Strengths in Saving Sentient Beings By a Falun Dafa practitioner
(Clearwisdom.net) When I read Teacher's "Greetings" and see the
video "Fa-Teaching Given to the Australian Practitioners," I feel that
the time for saving sentient beings is pressing. It is the sacred duty of every
practitioner to save greater numbers of sentient beings in a more efficient way.
Summarizing my and my fellow practitioners' experiences of clarifying the
truth and persuading people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its
related organizations, I would like to share some of these understandings.
Please point out anything that is not in line with the Fa. Teacher told us to treat the Fa as teacher, and said in "Unimpeded"
(Hong Yin II): "The paths of cultivation are
varied, but none is outside the Great Law." Some practitioners feel
pressure when they see others having persuaded many ordinary people to quit the
CCP and its organizations; and other practitioners think that they can hardly
make the right points when talking with people. This is certainly related to
practitioners' levels of diligence in studying the Fa, personal attachments, and
inborn qualities. Because our bases are different, the characteristics that we
have as part of our nature are different, and our living and working
environments are different. Teacher arranges a particular cultivation path for
each of us. Thus, on the path of clarifying the truth and saving sentient
beings, we have our ways that suit us. Some practitioners are extroverted and
good at socializing, while others are introverted and quiet; some are good at
writing, while others are not so good; some feel it's easier to talk to people,
while other find it easier to distribute truth clarification materials. Some practitioners around me often blame themselves for being unable to make
good conversation with people, as if only "talking" about the truth
and trying to persuade people in person could count as saving sentient beings. I
think this is a misunderstanding. We Dafa practitioners are one body, and each
of us is a particle in it. We all have our own strengths, and that's why we need
to complement each other and cooperate in Dafa work. For example, quiet
practitioners can try to do more in distributing truth clarification materials
and posting truth clarification banners or stickers, or in sending forth
righteous thoughts to aid fellow practitioners who are clarifying the truth in
person with people. Those who are good at verbal communication can try to speak
more to people; while those who are good at writing can write more articles to
expose the evil, etc. Clarifying the truth is not only done by
"talking." A simple truth clarification poster or a currency bill with
truth clarification words, even just a few words, is still sending out a
powerful message to save sentient beings. Thanks to fellow practitioners' efforts, our truth clarification
materials--whether they are flyers or pamphlets--are more mature and getting
more eloquent. Many ordinary people can understand the truth when they read
them. Once people understand the truth and understand that Falun Dafa is good,
they are counted as being saved. Teacher told us explicitly in the video "Fa-Teaching
Given to the Australian Practitioners" (2007) that the people who know
about the truth, understand Dafa is good, or quit the CCP and its organizations
will be taken care of in the future. Some people accessed the Chinese Epoch
Times website to quit the CCP and its organizations after they had read the
truth clarification materials. Hence, we cannot underestimate the power of these
materials. Distributing these materials on a large scale in a more efficient way
plays a very important role in saving sentient beings. However, I am not saying one should do one thing and ignore other things. My
point is that we should take good advantage of our own strengths to cooperate in
Dafa work. If every practitioner can do well what he/she should do, we can form
a very powerful body and save more sentient beings. Posting date: 1/15/2008
