Ms. Gao Zhenxiu Died as a Result of Persecution in Tianjin City

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Gao Zhenxiu lived in the Dagang District, Tianjin City. She used to have severe heart disease and high blood pressure. Her diseases all disappeared after she began practicing Falun Dafa at the end of 1997. Her personality also changed for the better, which impressed her friends and family. They witnessed her suffer for over a dozen years. The improvement of her mind and body was a testament to the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa.

After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Gao went to Beijing twice to appeal for Falun Dafa. She was arrested, detained twice, and sentenced to forced labor for 18 months. She was tortured in Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp for eight months. Her heart disease recurred while she was in the labor camp, and her family bailed her out for medical treatment.

After she returned home, the guards from Banqiao Labor Camp, male officers Zhao Wanmin and Hu Zhandong from Gangbei Police Station and the Yingbin Neighborhood Administrators constantly came knocking on her door to harass her. They took 3,000 yuan from her as "guarantee money" and constantly terrorized her. During this time, her heart condition worsened. Her family paid hundreds of thousands yuan for medical treatment for her. Sadly, she died on January 2, 2008, as a result of the huge mental and physical pressure.
