High School Teacher: "Each Program Has Its Own Spirit"

(Clearwisdom.net) Patricia Carignan is a teacher from a high school in Montreal, Canada. She attended the Chinese New Year Spectacular show in Montreal on January 15, 2008. During the intermission, she shared her impressions of the show.

Talking about how she felt about the show, she said, "Fantastic. The dancing is so beautiful, delightful, and noble. I like it."

She said she especially liked the dance about Falun Gong. She said that the three dancers performed very well, and the program helped people understand the current situation of the Chinese people. "Under communist control, people cannot do what they feel in their hearts."Ms. Carignan said that the dances brought a message of harmony, peace, tolerance, happiness, and hope: "One can see hope in the program. When the Falun Gong practitioners were beaten, the other world shows that people reincarnate from one world to another." She hopes that the Divine Performing Arts will come again next year.

Ms. Carignan learned of the show from the Internet. She said, "One of my friends came from France. I looked for a performance in Montreal that I could take her to see. I have Chinese friends and students, so when I saw the information about the show, I thought that the Chinese New Year could bring her good luck." Both of them have practiced meditation for over 25 years. They found the show to be very meaningful.
