Chinese Woman Watching the Spectacular in Montreal: "I feel the performance transcends culture"

(Clearwisdom.net) The touring company of Divine Performing Arts staged four performances on three consecutive days from January 15 to 17, 2008, at the Maisonneuve Theatre of Place-Des-Arts, in Montreal, Canada. Ms. Wang, a woman in her 50s, was very much impressed after seeing the premiere show and commented that the show transcended culture.

"I found myself in tears"

Ms. Wang said, "I'm very pleased, I'm really very happy, and also moved. It's wonderful. I'm really very pleased that such a good performance is presented to the audience overseas. I'm also very sad, because there are so many people are suffering (Falun Gong is being persecuted). I hope such a phenomenon can be ended as soon as possible, and also hope that everybody can enjoy peace, and nobody should be subjected to persecution."

"When seeing that the girl was locked up inside such a high prison wall, I felt sad and found myself in tears."

"I'm proud to see such a wonderful performance"

Ms. Wang said that she hoped traditional Chinese culture can be revitalized. "Traditional culture is such a good thing, promoting 'benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and sincerity,' is something that our Chinese nation can be proud of. It is the essence of our culture. I hope future generations of our Chinese nation can receive such education as soon as possible. In the past decades, after going through the Cultural Revolution, the traditional culture has been destroyed, and nothing is left, so Chinese people have turned to be the people they are now. There are many social problems, such as young people do not show filial piety to their parents and so on. Traditional culture should have been revived. I hope the persecution of Falun Gong to be ended soon."

"We almost do not have any traditional morality now. I'm proud to see such a wonderful performance. I hope that everybody will come to see the program, and also hope that young people can benefit from it."
