Seize the Time to Save Sentient Beings

(Clearwisdom.net) I was tortured by police officers and as a result, my lower body was paralyzed. Because of this, I put aside saving sentient beings and helping people withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations (also referred to as the "Three Withdrawals"). That is, until one day, when I had a dream.

In my dream, there was a group of kids. Each one had a red rope around their neck. The ropes were held by a very tall beast. The beast was dragging the kids to force them to follow, but the kids did not want to follow. The kids had tears in their eyes, so I said to the beast, "Please let them go." But the beast said, "They pledged to follow me in the past." Suddenly I woke up from my dream, and I sat on my bed and asked myself: "Did I do what Teacher asks us to do? Do I do the three things that Master asked us to do?"

I came to enlighten that this dream was for me to seize the time to save sentient beings and help people with "Three Withdrawals."

I was quite concerned that because I needed a wheelchair or to walk with crutches. If I were to clarify the truth to others, who would believe me? So... who could I save? In the morning while I was doing the second exercise, "Holding the Wheel," Teacher's words were cast into my mind, "In Fa-Rectification your thoughts have to be righteous--not human." and... "Let go of human attachments and save the world's people." So, I thought... I cannot go on like this any more, I was once one of the disciples who assisted Teacher in rectifying the Fa; I must act quickly to save sentient beings.

So, I went out on crutches to help people with the "Three Withdrawals." In the beginning, I had a strong attachment to fear. I was afraid that others wouldn't listen to me, or I would be reported to the authorities. I went out a few times but didn't dare to open my mouth. Later someone asked me: How did you become handicapped? Then I told him that it was caused by the persecution. I covered events from the staged "Tiananmen self-immolation incident" to the organ harvesting atrocities. Then I began to talk to him about the "Three Withdrawals". I successfully helped three people withdraw from the party in one day. I understood that it was Teacher's arrangement; it was Teacher encouraging me to do the three things well, to seize the time to save sentient beings. As a matter of fact, Teacher had done everything.

Teacher said:

"The fact is, those who can't step forward, regardless of the excuse, are concealing fear. Yet for cultivators, fear or lack thereof proves [one's] humanity or divinity, and it is what differentiates cultivators from ordinary people. It is something that a cultivator must face, and the biggest human attachment that a cultivator must remove." ("Study the Fa Well, and Getting Rid of Attachments is Not Hard")

One day, I went out to do some grocery shopping. It began to rain so I headed back. On the way, there was a youth who had just opened his umbrella. He caught up with me and said, " Aunty [a respectful way to address an elder], let's walk together." I thanked him. I understood that it was a truth-clarification opportunity. I asked him, "Which grade are you in, and have you heard of the "Three Withdrawals"? He told me: "I am in the first year of senior high school, and yes, I have." Then I asked, "Are you a Communist Youth League member?" He said, "I became a member when I was in the first year of junior high school." I told him, "Please quit it. If you quit, your membership, your life will be saved." He happily agreed. He also told me where his dad sold milk. So, the next morning, I went to buy vegetables in the market, and I saw his dad and talked to him about the "Three Withdrawals." He quickly agreed. I also told him that by reciting "Falun Dafa is good!" and "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" often enough, his tribulations would be removed. The dad thanked me from the bottom of his heart. I saw how eagerly sentient beings look forward to be saved!

Another day, an elderly person asked me: "What's wrong with you? You are on crutches!" I replied, "This was caused by CCP persecution. I was beaten to this extent at the police station." He asked, "Why did they beat you?" I said, "Only because I practice Falun Gong and try to be a good person." He asked, "Do they really beat you [practitioners]?" I told him, "They not only beat us. There are so many Dafa practitioners; their organs were harvested while they were still alive, and before they died, they were thrown into a cremation furnace to destroy evidence." He said, "They are that cruel! I think the CCP is going to be finished." I said, "The CCP is so evil, gods will eliminate it. By the way, are you a CCP member?" He said he was a retired CCP officer working in a village, and he was a CCP member. He also mentioned that there were Falun Gong practitioners in the village where he lived. I asked him whether he had done the "Three Withdrawals. He said that he had not, so I asked him to quit and told him it would save him. He said, "Do I need to sign anything or put my personal stamp on it?" I told him, "No, not necessarily... as long as you want to quit from your heart, that's all that counts, because gods only look at peoples' hearts. Let me give you an alias so you can quit the CCP." He was very happy and quit the Party.

Compared to my fellow practitioners, what I have done is far from the Fa's requirements, but I will keep up with my efforts, follow what Teacher says and do the three things well.
