Falun Dafa Saved My Mother-in-Law

(Clearwisdom.net) My mother-in-law is over 80 years old. In September when she went for a hospital examination, the doctor said she had leukemia. Her sons and daughters took her straight to the hospital. During the exam, the doctor asked, "How long has she had these symptoms?" I said that she had had them for four to five years.

In the past, my mother-in-law stayed with me. At that time her mouth often bled and she also had purple bruises, but it didn't affect her normal life and thus she didn't pay much attention to it. After I became a Falun Dafa practitioner, I often read Master Li's Fa lectures and Zhuan Falun to her.

In 2006, we moved to a new building. My mother-in-law thought the building was too high and she didn't like it, so she moved to her daughter's home and didn't have a chance to hear Master's Fa lectures any more. In September, she was diagnosed with leukemia. Her children all asked that she get chemotherapy, but the doctors said she was too old and also had symptoms of different diseases and they worried that the chemotherapy might endanger her life. The doctors said she would live for two more months maximum, but they finally agreed to her children's request and administered small doses of chemotherapy.

During the chemotherapy, we took turns taking care of her. When it was my turn, I asked her to recite "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good." My mother-in-law recited them carefully. Even when she had a fever of over 38 degrees Celsius, she still asked me if she was saying it right. She firmly believed in Dafa. In the evening when she was getting the chemotherapy, she had to get up to use the toilet every hour and sometimes every half hour, and her children could not sleep. But when it was my turn, she changed. She only got up to send forth righteous thoughts once at midnight and to practice the exercises in the morning, and she wasn't uncomfortable. Normally when people have chemotherapy, their hair falls out. Only my mother-in-law's white hair fell out, but not her black hair. Even the doctors thought this was strange, and they said they had never seen such a patient.

A month later, my mother-in-law left the hospital and stayed at her daughter's home, but we still took turns taking care of her. When it was my turn, my mother-in-law listened to Master's Fa lecture with me. She improved day by day, and now she can completely take care of herself.

When my mother-in-law was hospitalized, the two beds on either side of her bed were occupied by patients who also had leukemia. Even though their symptoms were less severe than my mother-in-law's, they both died. My mother-in-law recovered and left the hospital. My mother-in-law's recovery once again validates the miraculous power of Falun Dafa.
