Practitioners Chen Chunling and Pu Fanwei Beaten and Seriously Injured in Daqing Prison, Heilongjiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 25, 2007, during an inspection of the prison by warden Wang Yongxian of Daqing Prison in Heilongjiang Province with his staff and a riot squad, political director Li Weilong beat and seriously injured Chen Chunling, who was imprisoned in the No. 5 cell group. The next day, Li beat practitioner Pu Fanwei because he refused to wear the prison uniform, causing him to lose consciousness. He then beat Zhai Zhibing for not wearing his uniform. He also burned Zhai and Pu's clothes and socks.

Daqing Prison repeatedly tortures practitioners. At least five practitioners have been tortured to death here: Wang Hongde, Yuan Qingjiang, Xu Jishan, Zhou Shuhai, and Ni Weiqui.
