Practitioners Recently Persecuted in Shaouguang City, Shandong Province


(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, the Chinese Communist Party(CCP) has persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners in Shouguang City, Shandong Province. The following is a list of some of the incidents:

In the afternoon on October 23, 2007, a practitioner from Yaohedian Village, Jitai Township, Shandong Province, Mr. Liu Fude, was illegally arrested and his property confiscated by Jitai Township Police. He is now imprisoned in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.

This is the third time Mr. Liu has suffered persecution. He was twice illegally imprisoned for a four-year term. The third time he was released after about three months and sent to a forced labor camp.

Mr. Liu's wife, Mrs. Li Aichun, was arrested and her parents' property was confiscated by Jitai Township Police on October 28, 2007. She was released, but a short time later, the police took her from her parents home. After that, she left home to avoid further persecution. Her parents are more than 80 years old and have been harassed twice. There is nobody to take care of Ms. Li's 13-year-old child.

On the afternoon of November 1, 2007, Ms. Cai Reitang, a practitioner from Yaohedian Village, Jitai Township, was arrested and her property confiscated by Jitai Township police. They refused to let her family visit her. Her whereabouts are now unknown.

Ms. Guo Xiuqing from Jitai Township, Shouguang City, was robbed by police officers on November 9, 2007. They stole a computer, a printer, and mobile phones. Her residence was ransacked. Mrs. Guo was not at home at the time. Afterwards, she left home to avoid persecution and has been moving from place to place. Her husband was caught on November 18 and is being held in Shouguang City Detention Center. He was imprisoned in an iron cage for two days. Later he was fined three thousand yuan and released.

Ms. Qin is a practitioner from Laozhuang Village, Jitai Township, Shouguang City. She and her husband were taken into custody and their personal property confiscated in the middle of November. He was fined five thousand yuan and released. Mrs. Qin is still illegally imprisoned in Shouguang City Detention Center.

In the middle of November, Dong Meili, a practitioner from Yaohedian Village, Jitai Township, Shouguang City, was robbed by Jitai Township police. Her personal property, including an MP3 player, were confiscated.

Li Dongfeng, a practitioner from Jitai Township, Shouguang City, was also robbed by a police officer.

In the middle of October, a practitioner from Jitai Township, Shouguang City, Zhao Suqin, was robbed of personal property by Jitai Township Police.
