(Clearwisdom.net) On January 8, 2008, Liu Jing from Sanhe City, Hebei Province went to the National Security Team of the Sanhe City Police Department to inquire about the situation of her mother, Yang Huirong. Her mother had been arrested by the National Security Team a couple of days earlier. Liu Jing intended to take her mother home. However, Liu Jing herself was illegally detained. Then the police from the National Security Team ransacked her home and searched her mother's home again.
Liu Jing was first sent to the Sanhe Detention Center and then transferred to the Langfang Brainwashing Center. It was said that her mother, Yang Huirong and practitioner Wang Lanhua were also transfered to the Langfang Brainwashing Center.
On the night of January 2, 2008, Ms. Yang Huirong, in her 60s, and Ms. Wang Lanhua, in her 40s, were taken away. The next morning, Yang Huirong's home was illegally searched. Yang Huirong and Wang Lanhua were detained in the Sanhe Detention Center. Yang Huirong was arrested and detained repeatedly and her home was searched many times. She was detained in a brainwashing center twice and forced to become homeless and destitute for a long time. She has suffered greatly. Her oldest daughter, Liu Ying, was forcibly brainwashed and as a result, she had a mental breakdown and died from jumping off a tall building.
