Denver Audience Appreciates New Year Spectacular

(Clearwisdom.net) Fran Wilson has a nice Chinese name, Fan Rong. She is a very close friend of a Chinese-American woman who was born in Hong Kong. They are like sisters to each other. They went to watch the Chinese New Year Spectacular together at the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre in Denver after reading about the show in a local newspaper.

Ms. Wilson said she liked all the performances in the Spectacular, especially the "Drummers of the Tang Court." She appreciated the Chinese culture so vibrantly presented in the Spectacular. When asked what aspect of the show made the strongest impression on her, Ms. Wilson said, "I like Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance the most.. It is an idea that can connect all people in the world."

Flory Katchen and her husband Bruce Katchen watched the show with their friends. They told the reporter in excitement that they liked every performance of the evening. Bruce said his favorite was the drum dance. The final scene was phenomenal. It was Flory's favorite too. She felt it a pity that this show couldn't go to China. She was sorry to hear that China still lacks basic freedom of belief.

Marcia Wright took her son Daniel to the show. Her favorite performances of the evening were "Drummers of the Tang Court" and "Water Sleeves." She was thankful for the dance-drama about the persecution of Falun Gong, adding that most people know little about the situation in China.
