Chinese Person from Beijing: "I Cried During the Show" (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 20, Divine Performing Arts held the fourth performance of the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular in Toronto. Mr. Liu from Beijing said, "I cried during the show."

Mr. Liu from Beijing

Mr. Liu came to Canada from Beijing two years ago. He told this reporter how impressed he was with the show: "It is really amazing. The show is splendid. As a Chinese, I am proud of it. The performers are unique. They are real Chinese."

During the intermission, when a reporter asked Mr. Liu if he would like to be interviewed, he was very pleased and said, "I have been waiting for an interview!"

When asked which part of the performance he found the most touching and impressive one, Mr. Liu said, "The program about Falun Gong. It exposed the persecution. The actors' costumes and movements were very vivid. They perfectly showed how brutal the Chinese policemen are. But I think the dance didn't fully show how bloody the persecution of Falun Gong is."

When the reporter asked him to clarify, Mr. Liu said, "For example, we've all heard about, and some media have also reported about the organ harvesting. It was not exposed in the show. I think it should be exposed."

After the show, the reporter ran into Mr. Liu again and asked him what he thought about the second half of the show.

Mr. Liu responded, "The second half is fabulous! The most impressive ones are in the second half. I cried during the dance, 'The Power of Awareness.' It was very moving when all the people overcame their fear and selfishness and said 'no' to the policemen. I was deeply touched."
