After seeing the show, Mr. Sternberg said that he was touched by its many layers of content, including the dance "Drummers of the Tang Court" that depicted the flourishing Tang Dynasty. He said, "The drum presentation was very dynamic."

Mr. Sternberg commented on the themes of tradition and tolerance that the show explored with beautiful melodies and pleasing choreography.

He added, "The show has broad appeal. The pacing varies, some is high-energy, some is calm. This can appeal to tourists and those looking for a traditional Chinese show."

When talking about lead dancer Michelle Ren, Mr. Sternberg remarked that he had no words to adequately describe her elegance and grace. "She is a world-class lead dancer."

He said that he would bring all kinds of people to see the show next time it comes.

After the show completed its stop in Las Vegas, it headed to San Francisco. The Chinese New Year Spectacular will be performing seven shows at the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco from January 23 to 26, 2008. The estimated live audience is to exceed 15,000.
