A Spectator from Hong Kong: "The Persecution Is Against the Will of the People" (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese New Year Spectacular presented by the Divine Performing Arts was on stage at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco on January 23, 2008. The Divine Performing Arts, devoted to the spread of classic Chinese culture, presented a show filled with dance and music and featuring truthfulness, compassion, and beauty. A large group of Chinese were attracted to the show.

Mr. Liang Jin, originally from Hong Kong, said the people in Mainland China should see the show.

The spectators had high praise for the New Year Spectacular and were especially proud of the beautiful, classic Chinese culture that was presented. Mr. Liang Jin, originally from Hong Kong, was moved to tears when talking about the persecution of Falun Gong. He said, "The persecution is against the will of the people."

Mr. Liang loved every part of the show. He said, "When I saw the piece about the persecution of Falun Gong it seemed was too short. It should be longer, and the people in Mainland China should see it. Jiang Zemin (former head of the CCP) did something against the will of the people. All overseas Chinese know that. More people should know it."

Originally from Mainland China, a woman who saw the show last year came again this year. She said, "The show is high art." In her opinion, the power of the show is supernatural. She was moved by the intensity of the Tang Dynasty drums, which she felt the artists played "from the bottom of their hearts."
