US Congressional Members from Illinois Commend the Spectacular (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese New Year Spectacular will be performed at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago on January 25 and 26, and the organizing committee has received many proclamations and congratulatory letters from elected representatives. The following are some excerpts of the letters received.

US Senator Richard J. Durbin: "Greetings! It gives me great pleasure to welcome all of you to the 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular. As you gather to celebrate the Chinese New Year, you have an opportunity to enjoy world-class performances that showcase the essence of Chinese fine art... Again, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation and congratulations to all who are participating in the 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular. Congratulations on all your work and achievements, and I wish you best of luck in all your future efforts."

US Congressman Jesse L. Jackson Jr.: "...The Spectacular will remind audience members of the delightful and brilliant traditions that began in that great civilization thousands of years ago. Once again, best of luck! I wish all the performers and attendees a happy 4706."
