Medical Professor: "It's Very Important for People Here to Learn about These Things" (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of January 26, 2008, Riley Perry Lloyd, MD, from Northwest Medical College in Evanston attended the second show of the Chinese New Year Spectacular presented by the Divine Performing Arts in Chicago. He told the reporter that he enjoyed the entire performance. It was hard for him to say which piece was his favorite because he loved everything--the dances, the music, and the costumes. He said he was captivated by every facet of the show.

Dr. Lloyd said, "These enchanting performances conveyed many layers of meaning in each story. The programs covered many areas, such as the Tibetan and Mongolian dances. I think what is even more important was that they expressed a kind of belief. I think it is very important for people here to learn about things from other countries, so I liked this aspect of the show the most."

When he heard about the Chinese Communist Party's interference with the Chinese New Year Spectacular, Dr. Lloyd said, "I believe it. Actually, it's also why I bought the most expensive VIP ticket, because I want to support you. I feel it is very important. As a doctor, I have been to China twice. I went there to take part in academic exchanges, and I learned about the suppression happening there. Actually, even if one is not in China, the Chinese Communist Party also persecutes religions in different places. I find it very disgusting, and it is also the reason that I came to see the performance by the Divine Performing Arts. I will come every year to support you. I also plan to go to New York for the show this year."

When asked if he had heard about the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners happening in China, he said, "As a doctor, I know. They (the Chinese Communist Party) indeed are doing this thing. I oppose it."
