My Brother Recovers By a practitioner from Heilongjiang Province
(Clearwisdom.net) One day when I returned home from work, my mother said,
"Your brother (who is not a Falun Gong practitioner) went to the hospital.
The doctor said that he needed to be admitted because his condition is
serious." I was shocked. How could it be that serious? He only complained
of mild discomfort two days ago. I went to his room. He was lying in bed with his eyes closed. His face was
pale and he looked thinner. My sister-in-law told me that he was diagnosed with
intestinal adhesions after being examined, and that he needed to be hospitalized
immediately. They did not have enough money and wanted to confer with me as to
what to do. Just then, my brother woke up and struggled to sit up. He had not
eaten for several days, but his abdomen was still distended. He also had not had
a bowel movement. After speaking only a few sentences, he started vomiting. I said to him, "Let's get out of here! Come and study the Fa
with me. Only Dafa can save you." My brother had never objected to Dafa,
and had already withdrawn from the CCP. He respected my opinion and followed me
to my mother's room (she also practices Falun Gong). After sitting down, he
immediately started to get colicky abdominal pain accompanied by vomiting. It
seemed as if he would collapse at any time. I sat with my legs crossed in the
double lotus position, erected my right palm in front of my chest, and sent
forth strong righteous thoughts directed at him. I absolutely would not allow
any evil beings or old forces to persecute the sentient beings. He is already a
being saved by Dafa and should be protected by Dafa practitioners. Whoever
persecutes him is committing a sin and shall disintegrate at once. I also asked
Teacher to strengthen me. My mind was very calm and peaceful and I felt my
energy field was very powerful. Seeing him agonizing in pain, my mother wavered. She said, "Why don't
you lie down, and let me do acupuncture on you. You will feel better soon!"
I said sternly, "Mom, didn't you already try acupuncture yesterday? And his
condition worsened. Don't you believe that Teacher can save him? Please let go
of your human notions. They will not do him any good." She did not say
anything and started sending forth righteous thoughts quietly. I continued to
send forth righteous thoughts. Fifteen minutes later, my brother quieted down a
little. I let him lie down and placed a comforter over him. He was still
shivering. I said to him, "I will read the Fa, and you should listen
carefully." After I had read only half of a chapter, I heard him start passing gas. Very
soon he had two bowel movements. By the time I had finished one chapter, his
pain was completely gone. I then played Teacher's Fa lecture for him, and he
quietly fell asleep. The next morning, when my mother and I got up and did the
exercises at 3:40 a.m., my brother got up and joined us. I taught him all five
exercises. When I got off work that day, I saw him comfortably sitting up at home. I
asked him, "How are you feeling?" He said, "Very well. I am
completely well. I can eat now." My sister-in-law was also relieved. My
whole family witnessed the miracle of Dafa and we were very grateful for
Teacher's compassion. My brother is now also practicing Falun Gong. His wife and son also study the
