We Are Particles in Fa-Rectification

(Clearwisdom.net) A few days ago, several other practitioners and I sat down together to share our thoughts on something that we hadn't coordinated well. I also talked about my thoughts on the matter, but they were actually thoughts based on my attachments instead of from the perspective of the Fa. A practitioner whom I hadn't seen for several years immediately pointed out what I had done wrong and said that there was a very bad element in me that had lasted for a few years.

I was completely dumbfounded and got totally depressed. My human emotions came out and tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably. I cried, not because I felt wronged, but because I felt that even though I had cultivated for so many years, it was all for nothing for me to be like that in the eyes of other practitioners. I felt inferior and my attachments to fame and self-interest surfaced.

After I got home, although I had not totally calmed down, I continued reciting Zhuan Falun. Suddenly I understood another layer of the Fa. The "very bad element" the practitioner pointed out was my selfishness and vanity, which kept me at the stage of self-cultivation. All I talked about was centered on "me"--on what I saw--and not the Fa. I didn't look at things from the Fa to see what things did not go well and how we could improve as one body.

In fact, when we really study the Fa with pure hearts, we will understand everything. We will not have "self" but only what Dafa needs and requires from us. This is the basic difference between selfishness and mercy, between personal cultivation and cultivation in Fa-Rectification.

When we don't do well in Fa validation, it is because we are not following the path that Master has arranged for us. We should eliminate our attachments, look inward, and put down human notions. The evil should not exist at all. We can't allow it to take advantage of the omissions in our thoughts. It only deserves to be eliminated.

As the Fa-Rectification progresses, the requirements for us based on the Fa are more serious and pure. We should cultivate to become more mature and with more wisdom and mercy. The only way to do this is to study the Fa more and use the wisdom we acquire from the Fa to meet the requirements of the Fa, because we are elements of the Fa-Rectification.
