The Toxic Milk Powder Scandal Reveals an Even Broader Public Hazard for All Mankind

(Clearwisdom.net) The Ancient Chinese had a saying, "Hunger breeds discontent." The Sanlu toxic milk powder scandal has affected the whole world. It is indeed horrifying to see the growing list of toxic foods in China and the poisonous products that are exported worldwide. I live overseas, yet I, too, am affected. My family has bought White Rabbit candy and the mooncakes in the past, which have been found to contain toxic substances.

The CCP authorities and the milk powder manufacturers knew very well about the toxic milk powder long before the Olympic Games took place, but they covered it up for the sake of hosting an incident-free Olympics and thus deprived consumers of their right to know, allowing countless young children to continue consuming the toxic milk powder for another month and longer.

Withholding facts has been a habitual practice of the Communist regime, which not only harms the Chinese people, but the entire world as well. People may still remember the lies told by the CCP's Minister of Health during the outbreak of SARS in 2003. Just a few months ago, the regime again withheld the information on the severity of the earthquake in Sichuan--again for sake of the Olympics. They only notified a few military units while keeping their own citizens in the dark. Their withholding this critical information resulted in massive injuries and deaths. Many children were crushed to death when their schools collapsed due to shoddy construction.

Children are the future and hope of a country. All nations of the international community that have the sense of responsibility make great efforts to protect the health and safety of their children. For example, in Japan, the school buildings are sturdily built and earthquake-resistant, and in the United States, school buses enjoy "special privleges" over regular vehicles. These efforts are aimed at protecting the safety of children. However, from what happened to children in the recent toxic milk powder scandal and during the earthquake in Sichuan, people can very clearly see that the Communist regime shows no such concern for the safety of children. This is not only a crime, but also completely inhumane.

The CCP continues to cover up the facts of the toxic milk powder scandal by distracting people's attention away from the topic, and refusing to provide the latest statistics of children suffering kidney disorders as a result of drinking the toxic milk powder. The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed its dissatisfaction with the regime over this issue. The impact of the toxic milk powder scandal continues to spread worldwide, and has seriously damaged China's international image. Currently, dozens of countries have restricted or banned the import of dairy products from China; Russia has officially announced the ban of over 1,000 kinds of Chinese foods.

In fact, the CCP's withholding of facts and their information blockade is very comprehensive. What is viewed as an inconsequential and ordinary matter in the eyes of a foreign country is treated as a "state secret" in China. As for the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and the crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit, they are considered "secrets within a secret." Observing the callous disregard and inhumane treatment that the CCP has shown towards the "flowers of the motherland" (China's children), it is not too hard to imagine how brutal and severe their persecution of Falun Gong truly is.

In addition to toxic food, for the past decades, the CCP has used the policy of keeping the people in a state of ignorance to control the minds of the Chinese people; it has used the immoral and inhumane Party Culture characterized by "deceit, hatred and struggle" to brainwash the masses, constantly making spritual opium to poison the minds of people and deliberately destroying social morality. Generations of Chinese people have fallen victim and the standards of social conduct are on the decline, going from bad to worse. In this vacuum created by the absence of morality, people are doing whatever they want and one does not know who to trust.

Behind the Sanlu milk powder scandal lies a serious crisis of trust and credibility. While the Communist regime spares no effort in their persecution of Falun Gong, which teaches Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, they turn a blind eye to the real criminals, and this has given rise to a rampant growth in China of gangs of underworld thugs, while pornography, gambling and drug abuse is everywhere. The CCP's attack on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance will inevitably endanger all mankind.

Of all the moral and mental poisons being generated by the CCP, the most harmful is its slanderous lies against Falun Gong. For example, Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan and their followers staged the so-called "Tiananmen self-immolation" in order to slander Falun Gong, and to deceive and poison many people both inside and outside of China who did not look into the true situation, but instead swallowed the CCP's lies whole.

Now many people have begun to realize that the CCP is a force more evil than the underworld thugs. However, there are still many people who cannot clearly see the true nature of the CCP due to a lifetime of brainwashing and blind acceptance of the CCP's lies. Unfortunately, they still lack a deep or comprehensive understanding of the CCP and issues about China.

I believe that the CCP is the ultimate source of both toxic food and spiritual poison, which is not only harming China, but also poses an international public hazard for all mankind.
