Mr. Li Qiguo's Life in Danger from Torture in Wuxue City Detention Center

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Li Qiguo lives in Lirong'er Village, Meichuan Town, Wuxue City, Hubei Province. He used to have type B hepatitis, and also had a digestive disorder, which caused his family to live in poverty with a huge debt. He was fortunate to learn Falun Dafa, as all of his illnesses disappeared within one year. He used to be in constant conflict with his father-in-law, but when he changed to being a person who always thinks of others first, those conflicts were resolved. The people around him were stunned by the miracles of Falun Dafa, and a lot of them started practicing this great way.

After the persecution began in 1999, Mr. Li used his personal story to tell people the truth about Jiang Zemin and exposed the lies of his regime. He was brutally beaten, and his family had money extorted from them. Around 2003 to 2004, he had to flee his home to avoid being arrested. On July 25, 2008, the Wuxue City Police, together with the Wenzhou City Police in Zhejiang Province, deceived him into leaving his small shop to go to the Anxin Apartments Police Station in Ouhai District, Wenzhou City, where they arrested him, took him back to Hubei Province, and detained him in the Wuxue City First Detention Center. His life is now in danger due to cruel mistreatment, and police had to take him to the hospital for emergency rescue.

Mr. Fang Tianming is an excellent teacher employed by the Wuxue City Normal School. He learned Falun Dafa in 1997, and was greatly respected by his students. After July 20, 1999, he was harassed and arrested many times, and had to flee his home in 2004 to avoid further mistreatment.

On July 25, 2008, the Wuxue City Police, together with the Wenzhou City Police in Zhejiang Province, deceived him into going to a tutoring center by calling as a parent interested in hiring him. He was arrested, and is now detained in the Wuxue City First Detention Center. There is no family visitation allowed.

The following practitioners are also detained there: Ms. Wu Yaqin, Mr. Chen Feng, Ms. Guo Pinzhen, Mr. Liu Jigang, Mr. Zhu Shengguo, Ms. Ma Qiurong, Mr. Xu Dongsheng, Ms. Li Xuezhen, and retired official Mr. Xu Fulin, who is not a practitioner, but was arrested for supporting Falun Gong.
