Manifesting Dafa's Glory at Work

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a food specialist and a manager in a factory. I attained the Fa in 1997. Dafa opened my mind and made me understand the true meaning of life. One should return to one's true self. All misfortunes in life come from the karma that one committed in past lives, and only cultivation can eliminate this karma and make one free. I was determined to follow Master to return home.

Since practicing Dafa, I have held myself strictly to the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and eliminated attachments. My colleagues said that I work very hard at my job. On the job, I love my work, do it professionally, and am honest and kind, for which I have earned the respect of my colleagues. At the same time, I take it as an opportunity to show them how wonderful Dafa is.

As a practitioner, taking fame and self-interest lightly is a requirement of the Fa principles and is what we should do. I deal with many contracts to purchase equipment for the factory. I always tactfully decline the gifts that business clients want to give me out of appreciation. I tell them that I am a practitioner and will not accept the gifts. One client manager said that it would be better if everyone was a Falun Gong practitioner like me. Of course, sometimes I didn't do well. Once a business client delivered a piece of exercise equipment to my home. I told him, "We practitioners do not need exercise equipment because we are very healthy through practice." He told me it was for my parents to use. At night, I dreamed of a fruit tree with several broken branches. I woke up and realized it was a hint that I absolutely should not have accepted that gift. Later returned it.

The kindness strengthened through practicing cultivation enables me to always think of the clients and not scheme for my own personal interests. Many clients have become my friends. They know the truth about Dafa, and many have quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.
