New Practitioner: Cultivating Dafa Gives Me Indescribable Joy

(Clearwisdom.net) In the year 2005, I came into contact with a Falun Gong practitioner. At that point in time, I was still not quite convinced that what the practitioner told me about Falun Gong and the persecution was true. Later, when my friend clarified the facts about Falun Gong to me and after I read the book "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and some other informational materials, I started to see the true colors of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I realized that having people renounce their Party membership is the way Master was compassionately giving sentient beings a chance and offering salvation to them. Later, not only did I renounce my membership in the Party and all its affiliated organizations, I was also fortunate to become a Falun Gong practitioner. I became determined to take the path arranged by Master and be a qualified Fa-rectification period Dafa practitioner.

Through studying the divine book Zhuan Falun, Master helped me understand the true meaning of life. I realized the real purpose of my life. From then on, I was no longer lost and searching around. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are the principles set by Dafa, and practitioners must cultivate them.

I work as a public transportation driver. I have to work rain or shine, even in extreme weather conditions, and the job is both tough and dangerous. I sincerely recite in my heart, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Master is good!" I also use the principles of Falun Gong to guide my actions in daily life. I don't fight for personal gain, and I take material gains and losses lightly. I use a calm and peaceful attitude when facing everyone around me. When I am faced with challenging situations, I remember the teachings of our great and compassionate Master and try my best to improve my xinxing.

During the past few years, I have deeply felt that things went very smoothly regarding my job, my family life and all other aspects of my life. I also received an increase in my earnings, and the danger of my job decreased. Driving is a very dangerous job. If one isn't careful, one might have an accident and injure someone and thus get into trouble. Other drivers often encounter these situations. Now, with the moral standards having dropped to such a low point, there are situations where people will use accidents to exploit the driver at fault for huge sums of money.

Since I began studying the Fa, I have had indescribable joy in my heart. I no longer have the feeling of repression in my heart, and instead I feel light. I no longer feel tired after a day's work. I am turning sixty years-old soon, and I find it easy to climb up and down the stairs. It is Dafa that has totally changed me, improved my fortune and improved my daily life.

I will persist in studying the Fa and put in more effort to do well the three things required by Master. I will assist Master in Fa-rectification and take every step in cultivation well and fulfill my pre-historic vows!
