Getting Rid of a "Reasonable" Mindset

(Clearwisdom.net) Actually it would be more proper to title this article "Breaking Away from Human Notions." Why did I give it the title I did? I always have a notion that it's acceptable as long as it's reasonable. Perhaps many of us think this way. From the surface, this notion is right, that it's acceptable as long as it's reasonable, but this notion is not right for a practitioner who is walking the path toward godhood. When we contemplate "reasonable," what is the standard? Is it a human standard or a Falun Dafa standard? A human standard is for human beings. It's a human state. With a human notion, the power of Falun Dafa will be limited. That's why some practitioners have suffered tribulations they should not have. By thinking that such a tribulation is normal, subconsciously I have acknowledged the persecution.

I was in a very passive and a despondent state. By sending forth righteous thoughts, I am almost out of that state, but still not completely. Why am I interfered with when I encounter bigger tribulations? Because I did not break through my human notions. A human being gets depressed after being hit by a tribulation or by being persecuted. When the persecution is more severe or lasts longer, I try very hard to change it. If I get no results, I feel depressed. It is a reaction of a human based on a human notion. But we know from Falun Dafa that an Arhat is always happy. Will he be depressed? Using this standard to measure a practitioner, is it reasonable that a practitioner gets despondent? Master said in "Expounding on the Fa:"

"Whenever a tribulation comes, you do not see it with the side of your original nature but view it completely with your human side. Evil demons then capitalize on this point and inflict endless interference and damage, leaving students in long-term tribulations."

I am one of those practitioners. After recognizing the loophole, it's easy to break through. My situation has changed a lot.

Thinking from this point of view, it is the right time now for practitioners to display their mighty power and save sentient beings. Falun Dafa practitioners should be in the right state: wise, fearless, noble, full of dignity, free, happy, etc. That's what we need for Fa rectification. It's the choice of the universe.
