On September 8, 2008, Ms. Li Chunhua was arrested by the local police while she was clarifying the truth in the Farm Produce Hall of Benxi Fire-resistant Factory. She is being detained in the Ajialing Detention Center in Benxi City.

Ms. Guo Wenying has been detained for six years. She is scheduled to be released on September 24, 2008.

On the afternoon of September 17, 2008, Ms. Zhou Chuanxiang, 51, posted banners along the highway that exposed the persecution. She was reported to the police and arrested by officers from the Chongshan Crime Police Team. That afternoon, officers went to Ms. Zhou's home and confiscated Dafa books and CDs. Ms. Zhou's family was fined 10,000 yuan before they could take her home.

At 9 a.m. on September 10, 2008, deputy chief Jiang Zhongming from the Chenghuang Town Police Station in Hanchuan City, Sichuan Province led police officers to break into the home of Mr. Zhou Wenqiang in Chenghuang Town. The police searched his home, took away some of his books and other property, and arrested him. Mr. Zhou was sent to the Hanchuan City Second Detention Center.

In August 2007, Ms. Li Jin from Taichang City was arrested by police in Kunshan City. She has been detained in the Kunshan Detention Center for a long time. On July 28, 2008, she was sentenced to ten years of imprisonment by the Kunshan Court.

Mr. Ye Guohua from Jian'ou City, about 40 years old, had been sentenced to five years of imprisonment. In 2006, he was released. He was laid off and did labor work out of town. On July 28, 2008, Mr. Ye was arrested by Lin Xiaoming and other policemen from the Jian'ou National Security Team while he was using the computer in an Internet cafe in Jianou City. His whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Cheng Xianhua from Jian'ou City was also arrested. On August 22, 2008, she was sentenced to one year of imprisonment. She is being detained in the Fuzhou Women's Prison.

On July 28, 2008, Ms. Li Shuangjiao from Jingzhou City, Hubei Province was arrested by officers of the National Security Team of Kunshan City Police Department in Jiangsu Province, and her home was searched. She is being detained in the Kunshan Detention Center. She is very weak and is having difficulty walking as a result of persecution.

Four Taiyuan Falun Dafa practitioners were sent to forced labor camps recently. The sentences are as follows: Mr. Ren Yuhong and Ms. Ji Guoli, one year; Mr. Liang Hong and Ms. Liu Caihong, fifteen months.

On August 13, 2008, about a dozen Lanzhou policemen and personnel of the Lanzhou TV Factory went to search the home of Ms. Lao Cui under the pretense of maintaining the plumbing. They took away two computers, a printer and copying integrative machine, about 9,000 yuan in cash, Dafa books, etc. The police arrested Ms. Lao Cui and her daughter.

On September 19, 2008, Ms. Yang Lihua was illegally arrested and sent to the Wuhan City Women's Administration Detention Center for ten days.

On August 17, 2008, Ms. Lei Xiaoyu from Qu County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province clarified the truth to a motorcyclist on the road and advised him to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. However, the motorcyclist reported her to the police. She was arrested by officers from the Tuxi Police Station of Qu County. The Dafa books that she was carrying were confiscated. Ms. Lei is being detained in the Tuxi Police Station.

Ms. Wang Lu was sentenced to one year and nine months of forced labor. On September 18, she was sent to the Hefei Women's Forced Labor Camp in Anhui Province.

On September 22, 2008, Mr. Gao Li went to the Huayuantun Township Police Station to register his residence. He was detained.

Ms. Jiao Jinhua, 53, lives in the Lianmeng Residential Community in Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang City. In mid July 2008, she was arrested by officers of the Xiyuan Police Station in Shijiazhuang City.

Mr. Chen Xiangming, 57, lives in Wangtai Township, Shehong County, Suining City. On the night of June 9, 2008, he was arrested by officers of Wangtai Township Police Station. He is being detained in the Shehong County Detention Center.

At the beginning of May 2008, Mr. Duan Tilin from the Hebei Forestry Administration was followed by a police agent while he was distributing truth-clarifying materials. Later, he was arrested and his home was searched. The police took away his computer, printer, CD burner, CDs, Dafa fliers, etc.

The police smashed a window to Ms. Tan Xiqing's home, forcibly entered the room and arrested her. Her husband divorced her because he was afraid of being persecuted.

Ms. Dong Huimin, 41, is an employee of the Chang'an Town Government, Gaocheng City, Hebei Province. Around August 7, she was reported to police while she clarified the truth to a teacher. She was arrested and sent to the Gaocheng Detention Center. Later on, she was transferred to the Shijiazhuang Brainwashing Center. Now she and about ten others practitioners are on a hunger strike to resist the persecution.

Ms. Wei Junfeng from Jiaozhou City is 48 years old. On the night of June 8, 2008, she was arrested by police while she was distributing materials about the persecution of Falun Dafa in the Datong Residential Area. In mid September, she was sentenced to four years of imprisonment by the Jiaozhou City Court.

On August 7, 2008, Mr. Li Zhenxing, 27, and Mr. Ma Liuquan, about 50, were reported to police and then arrested because they posted information about the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Li was sentenced to one and a half years of imprisonment and Mr. Ma was sentenced to fifteen months. They are being detained in the Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City.

In mid September 2008, Mr. Wang Jun from Acheng, Harbin City was reported to police and then arrested because he exposed the truth of the persecution to people in Daling Township, Acheng. He is being detained at the Acheng Detention Center.

On August 29, 2008, Ms. Wei Guanghua from Zhuangtou Village, Weicheng District, Weifang City was arrested. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor. She is being detained in the Wangcun Second Forced Labor Camp.

Mr. Li Yuan of the Zhuozhou City Substance Detection Bureau was sentenced to one year of forced labor. On the morning of September 22, 2008, he was sent to the Baoding Forced Labor Camp.
