The World Will Be Right When People Are Right
(Clearwisdom.net) A professor racked his brain one evening, trying to
come up with the presentation he needed to give during a graduation ceremony.
His young son made so much noise while playing that the professor could not
concentrate and calm his mind. The professor, fetching a puzzle for his son to
play with, said to his son, "This is a jigsaw puzzle of the world map. It
took me a long time to complete this puzzle. If you can do this in half an hour,
I will award you one dollar." His son took the puzzle and quietly began to
work on it. The professor could finally concentrate on his presentation. However, only a
little more than ten minutes later his son ran over, put out his hand and said
to his father, "Give me one dollar!" The professor could not believe
what he saw: his son had finished the puzzle in such a short time. The professor
asked him, "How could you finish it so quickly?" His son said slyly,
"It is a secret, but I will tell you: the reverse side of the map shows a
photo of a person. So, when I pieced the photo together, the map was done,
too." The excited professor held up his son and kissed him. He said, "You can
have the one dollar. You have not only pieced the puzzle together, you also
helped me find the topic for my presentation." "The world will be right when people are right." The child had
found a truth by chance. When various social problems appear, adults often try
to find superficial ways out of a dilemma. They enact numerous different laws
and stipulations, trying to make society better, but end up with results
contrary to their expectations. The adults have overlooked the fact that the
main body of the society is people, and different kinds of people will amount to
different kinds of society. People's worldviews and their morals directly affect
society's direction of development. If all people can have a sincere, kind, and tolerant mindset, society will be
harmonious and wonderful. If people are against and even hate the principles
inherent in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, then society will become the one that
the Communist regime promoted, and deceit, wickedness and fighting would run
rampant. Everyone will get hurt. This is the true description of the current
society in China. When the persecution of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, the principles of Falun
Gong, happened, what is attacked is the basis of humankind's morals. Thus, this
persecution affects everyone in society. I hope that we can all voice our
righteous concerns and resist the persecution of Falun Gong. One sentence of
justice is like a beam of light that will illuminate a beautiful world. (Chosen from the "Minghui Weekly", Mainland China edition) September 25, 2008
