Truth Clarification is About Saving People, Not Healing Illness

(Clearwisdom.net) All practitioners know that the purpose of our truth clarification is to save people. Everyone is different and has his or her own thoughts. The concept of "self" guides human beings' actions--everything they do is for their own good. They seek peace, money, happiness and good health, all for themselves or their relatives, and tend not to care as much about people who are not related to them. We can imagine how hard it is to clarify the truth to people who are suffering from illness and other tribulations. I personally don't think it is a good idea to simply tell them to recite, "Falun Dafa is good," so that their problems will go away.

Teacher states:

"You can read this book to a patient. If the patient can accept it, it can heal illness. But the results will differ according to each person's amount of karma." ("Zhuan Falun")

Teacher also writes about a person who spontaneously acquires gong:

"When she cured a patient's illness, the patient might not appreciate it. When she treated the patient, she might have removed a lot of bad things from this patient's body. Although she healed this patient to such an extent, there might not have been any obvious changes at that time. The patient, however, would not be happy in his mind. Instead of expressing gratitude, he might accuse her of cheating." (Zhuan Falun)

People only pay attention to personal gains that they can see. A person who sincerely recites "Falun Dafa is good" will be rewarded, but the reward may not be reflected in this dimension and may not show up in the moment. If that is the case, some people may doubt or even have negative feelings towards Dafa, and they may not believe what you tell them next time. I think what's important is to let people know the truth. Let his or her real life be saved, regardless of whether or not the current illness is eliminated.
