1. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Long Guande Put into the City's Police Hospital
Several policemen beat Mr. Long Guande and injured him severely on September 23, 2007. The detention center doctors found that his right lung and liver were injured. He has difficulty breathing and coughs. He also has hepatitis B in addition to a tumor in his head. Mr. Long was transferred to the city's Police Hospital a month ago. His family requested to meet with him, but was refused.
Tianhe District Court agents held a trial for Mr. Long on August 4, 2008, but no verdict was reached.
2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] A Male Practitioner Injured from Beatings in the Pi County Detention Center
Personnel from the Supoqiao Police Station in the Qingyang District, Chengdu City arrested a male practitioner around August 2, 2008. He was beaten because he refused to wear the inmate's uniform. He is covered with bruises and has difficulty walking.

4. [Luoding City, Guangdong Province] Recent Information about Mr. Chen Jianguo
Mr. Chen Jianguo was arrested in Zhaoqing City on October 25, 2007. Policemen from Yunfu City and Luoding City brought him back to the Yunfu City Detention Center. Mr. Chen was forbidden to meet with his family.

5. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fan Cuizhen and Ms. Liu Cuiling Arrested
Ms. Fan Cuizhen and Ms. Liu Cuiling were arrested on September 21, 2008 for clarifying the truth in a village. Police ransacked their homes, and their whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Changling County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zheng Yafeng Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Zheng Yafeng, 36 years old, is a teacher from Liushui Town, Changling County, Jilin Province. Personnel from the county's police station arrested about 20 practitioners on July 11, 2008, under the pretext of the Olympic Torch passing by Songyuan City on July 15, 2008. Police demanded to know if Ms. Zhao would give up Falun Gong practice. She replied, "Falun Dafa is Good," and "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is Good." Police then sentenced her to one-and-a-half years of forced labor.
Ms. Jiang Shujie was also sentenced to a forced labor camp.
7. [Weiyuan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Lin Chunquan Went Missing
Mr. Lin Chunquan was arrested in early July 2008 and put into the Neijiang Brainwashing Center in late July. He and other practitioners were transferred out of the brainwashing center on September 28, 2008. Four other practitioners from Weiyuan City have been released, but there is no information about Mr. Lin.
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qi Xiangyang Arrested
More than ten officers from the Xinghua Police Station in the Tiexi District arrested Mr. Qi at 10:00 p.m. on September 26, 2008. He is currently being held in the Liaozhong Detention Center.

9. [Beijing] Mr. Chen Kaiqu Put into a Brainwashing Center
Mr. Chen Kaiqu is a member of the Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing where he works. He was sentenced two years of forced labor in July 2006 and released in July 2008. Afterwards, police from Mr. Chen's hometown in Shenzhen City transferred him to a brainwashing center. He went on a hunger strike in the brainwashing center.

11. [Tianjin] Four Practitioners Arrested on September 23, 2008
Mr. Wang Wenfang and his wife Ms. Shi Huiwen, in their 60s, were arrested at 10:00 a.m. on September 23, 2008. Police ransacked the couple's home and confiscated all of their Dafa books and materials. The police put the couple into a detention center near the Caozhuang Huahui area.
Mr. and Mrs. Qiu are both 60 years old. They were arrested also and their home was ransacked. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Li Tao living in No.2 Songshan Street, Jimo City
Ms. Jing Fengli living in No. 2 Songshan Street, Jimo City
Mr. Yin Xinxiao from the Licang District, Qingdao City
Mr. Liang Lijun living in Shangzhi Street, Qingdao City
Ms. Lu Xueqin living in Xiushui Street, Qingdao City
Ms. Sun Liping living in Yancheng Street, Qingdao City
All the above people are held in the Qingdao City No.1 Detention Center, except for Mr. Li Tao who has been bailed out, and Ms. Lu Xueqin is under house arrest. She is paralyzed as a result of torture and is extremely thin. Her life is in danger. The other practitioners were ruthlessly tortured and deprived of sleep for many days.

Police from Ganwang Town arrested Mr. Zhang Jia'an, Mr. Han Baolai and two other practitioners on the night of September 25, 2008. Mr. Zhang had been sentenced to forced labor four times. Mr. Han was on the police's "wanted" list in Zhongxiao Town, Haicheng City.

Mr. Jia Baohu is from Jiazhuang Village, Xuying Township, Liaocheng City. Personnel from the 610 Office and from the township's police station arrested him on September 26, 2008.
Mr. Wang Lishan is from Daliguantun Village, Liaocheng City. Personnel from the Xuying Township Police Station and from the 610 Office arrested Mr. Wang on September 27, 2008. Personnel from the Jiangguantun Police Station arrested his wife Ms. Aiyun and put her into a brainwashing center on June 23, 2008.

Mr. Wang Xueyong is an employee of the Gudao Factory in the Shengli Oil Field. He was arrested on the night of September 29, 2008 and is being held in the Gudao Police Station.

16. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Yongkai Arrested
Mr. Wang Yongkai lives in Chengyang Nugu Village and was arrested on September 5, 2008. The whereabouts of his ten-year-old son who lived with him are unknown. The persecutors confiscated items worth 100,000 yuan.

Mr. Zhang Fuxiang from Pingxiang City was arrested on August 3, 2008 and sentenced in Yushui District Court, Xinyu City, on September 24, 2008.

18. [Yongzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Huang Manping and Mr. Lu Yuexin Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
Ms. Huang Manping and her husband Mr. Lu Yuexin from Lanshan County, Yongzhou City were arrested on March 5, 2008. The couple was recently sentenced to seven years in prison.

Mr. Jiang Yuhui from Zha District, Manzhouli City was sentenced to forced labor. Police from the district went to his workplace and harassed his colleagues under the guise of a security check.

Ms. Guo, a Chengdu Air Force military officer, in her 60s, was arrested for practicing Falun Gong. She had been held in a brainwashing center for half a year and is now held in the Air Force's Logistics Division.
