A Kind-Hearted Falun Gong Practitioner is Arrested in Shenyang City--Her Whereabouts Unknown (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang Shuxian is a resident of Heping District, Shenyang City in Liaoning Province. She has been practicing Falun Gong for eleven years. She is a very kind person and she has a happy family of three. On September 23, 2008, Ms. Wang was arrested by officers from the Dongling District Police Department in Shenyang City. This happened over a month ago, and her whereabouts are still unknown. Her husband and child are very worried about her.

Ms. Wang, 47, is retired from the Huanggutun Vehicle Body Shop of the Subdivision of Shenyang City Railway Bureau. She was a very hard-working employee, and at home she was a good wife and mother. Before she practiced Falun Gong, she fought with people if they treated her unfairly. She once fought with her in-laws over some housing issues, and because of the disagreement they didn't talk to each other for several years. Since she started practicing Falun Gong in 1997, however, she has followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and the conflicts ended peacefully. From then on, Ms. Wang frequently went to her in-laws to help them with household chores, and she even used her own savings to help her brother-in-law to get married and settle down. Her mother-in-law was very happy and said that it was Falun Gong that helped Ms. Wang to change into such a good person!

On a rainy day in 2005, Ms. Wang was hit by a speeding taxi while riding home on her bike, and she fell hard onto the ground. The taxi driver got out, his legs trembling due to fear, but Ms. Wang slowly stood up. The first words she said were to comfort the driver, "Don't worry about me. I'm alright. I won't ask for a penny from you." Her kind words shocked the driver and bystanders. Ms. Wang further explained, "I'm a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Gong teaches people to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Please don't believe the propaganda [against Falun Gong] on TV." The driver then said loudly, "The CCTV version of the 'Self-immolation' and the others are all lies. I had previously often heard people telling me that Falun Gong was good. You have just proved it today!" After that, the driver took Wang to her apartment building. Miraculously, Wang was able to walk up stairs only a little over ten minutes after the accident. Before he left, the driver said, "I've met a very good person today. I'll tell everybody I know about today and tell them that Falun Dafa is good!"

On the afternoon of September 23, 2008, while Ms. Wang was telling people the facts about Falun Gong at the Sanglinzi District in Dongling, Shenyang City, she was reported by the head of the local security office. After that, officers from the Nanta Police Station in Dongling District arrested her. In addition, four policemen searched her residence that night and took away personal belongings including a computer, printer and Falun Gong books.

In the Nanta Police Station, Ms. Wang was brutally beaten by the guards. The authorities from that police department then transferred her to the Shenyang City Detention Center that same night. It has been over a month since Ms. Wang's family has heard any information about her.

It is now very cold in Shenyang City, and Ms. Wang's husband and daughter took heavy coats for her to the Shenyang City Detention Center, but the center did not accept them. The guards there didn't tell the family of her whereabouts, and her family is now very worried.
