Western Australia: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Fremantle Festival Parade (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On November 16, Falun Gong practitioners in Western Australia participated in the annual Fremantle Festival Parade and the practitioners' newly formed Waist Drum Troupe gave its first performance. The practitioners' bright costumes and peaceful demeanor made a positive impression on the parade participants and spectators.

Fremantle has a long history and is an important seaport in Western Australia. Its beautiful landscape attracts numerous tourists all year round. The Fremantle Festival was instituted long ago to celebrate the first introduction of lamps into the city. According to the organizing committee, about 90,000 local residents and tourists watched the parade.
