Teacher Is Right Beside Me

(Clearwisdom.net) During the past 10 plus years, with every step forward, I can feel Teacher protecting me and that he is right beside me at all times.

I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Before that, I had many health problems, such as: inflammation of my gall bladder, bronchitis, tonsillitis, trigeminal neuralgia, and allergy to penicillin. Life was very difficult. The second week after I began to practice Falun Gong, Teacher cleansed my body. I had diarrhea for three days and nights, and my karma surfaced and was eliminated. A few months later, I truly came to feel great relief at not having any illness.

On July 20, 1999, when the persecution of Falun Gong began, I was not afraid. With Teacher here and with the Fa here, nobody can shake me. As soon as I knew that our kind Teacher was being wronged by evil lies, my tears flowed down my face. To rescue arrested practitioners, I went with a few other practitioners to the municipal government to demand their release. We stayed until they were released at midnight. (They were detained somewhere out of town.)

At my workplace, upper level administrators demanded that everyone declare his or her stand on Falun Gong. I kept in mind Teacher's Fa: "All of you are already aware of the principle of mutual-generation and mutual-inhibition. If you are not afraid, the factor that would make you afraid will cease to exist. This is not to be self-imposed, but is achieved by truly and calmly letting go of it." ("Eliminate Your Last Attachment")

At a meeting of several hundred people, my boss told me to state my position first. I took advantage of this great opportunity to clarify the truth. I told them about the changes in my physical condition and the miraculousness of Dafa, about Dafa's ability to help elevate moral values in society, and about the corruption in society. I told them that the reason we practice Falun Gong is to be good people, as opposed to being greedy, taking others' things, or deceiving others. I was recognized company-wide as a worthy person, but many of them did not know that I practiced Falun Gong. This time, except for the two people mentioned earlier, none had family members practicing Falun Gong. The rest did not mention Falun Gong at all. They talked about work-related things. Then the meeting concluded.

"Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master." (Zhuan Falun) Under Teacher's protection, many people have chosen for themselves great positions.

After Teacher's article "Hurry Up And Tell Them" was published, I came to realize the importance of clarifying the truth, so I wrote phrases, put up sticky notes, and hung up banners to clarify the truth. A banner that reads "Falun Dafa is Great" still hangs where I put it and plays its role in saving sentient beings to this day. One winter evening after I finished hanging up 38 banners, it was already past midnight. My pants and shoes were totally wet, but I didn't feel cold at all. When I ran into a police vehicle, it stopped and a police officer stepped out. He saluted me with his hand high up, holding that position for a while. I smiled at them as I passed their vehicle and a warm current went through me. Teacher, thank you for encouraging your disciple in this special way. I knew that you were at my side.

One day before the Chinese New Year, the CCP was going to hold a meeting. When I found out, I decided not to let it take place. At that time, I had one though in mind, "Teacher, your student must save sentient beings today." After I finished hanging up the first banner, I went to another place and saw that there were just as many police vehicles as banners I was going to hang, and there was someone lecturing the police officers. When I passed, I heard him talking loudly. I told myself, "You've got to move really fast. Everything is under the control of our Teacher." It was Teacher encouraging his student. Teacher was by my side, so I said to myself, "Teacher, please rest assured, your student is sure to use the least time to get everything done." After I finished hanging the second banner, I passed another intersection. A few police vehicles drove by me. I finished hanging all my banners and safely returned home.

The publishing of the Nine Commentaries triggered a great tide of quitting the CCP. I came to realize the new situation of Teacher's Fa-rectification had arrived, so I began to talk to people about the Three Withdrawals (withdrawing from the Party and its two youth organizations) face to face. From strangers to fellow practitioners, to friends and relatives and even to people who had hurt me. Teacher said:

"In the Fa-rectification, Master is actually saving all beings, not just the good ones; evil ones are of course included as well. I have often said that during the Fa-rectification I don't hold the past faults of any sentient being against him, and that I look only at a sentient being's attitude toward Dafa during the Fa-rectification." ("Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World")

I followed what Teacher said and tried to harmonize with what Teacher wanted. I took the Fa as Teacher. One person who had seriously harmed my family ran into me a few times after quitting the CCP activities began. This was not accidental. We were all Teacher's family members. It must be Teacher wanting to save her. So I approached her. I clarified the truth to her and helped her quit the Party. I then gave her an amulet(1) as a gift. She was very happy about it and showed her gratitude. There was another person who cursed at me some time ago. I also talked to her and helped her quit the evil CCP organizations. This is also a great opportunity that Teacher has arranged for me to improve my xinxing.

In March 2008, a fellow practitioner and I went to her relative's home to talk about the Three Withdrawals. This fellow practitioner was quite concerned, as her relative is a cadre with the municipal committee in City X, and his wife works for the detective section in the police department. She asked me if we could truly do it. I replied, "Of course! With Teacher here, with Falun Dafa here, we are not afraid of anything." After we got there I talked while my fellow practitioner began to send forth righteous thoughts. I talked about an 82-year-old man. I retold a story about a practitioner visiting his home some years ago. Then I said that heaven will eliminate the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). Surprisingly enough, I found that they not only listened carefully, but that their one-year-old child was listening to me the entire time and was completely quiet. In the end, they all gladly quit the evil CCP organizations. They said, "You are a god, and we thank our relative for bringing you here." I only talked to them for about 10 minutes. During that time, we truly believed that Teacher was right beside us at every moment. As long as we firmly believe in Teacher and Dafa, Teacher can help us do anything.

I don't have the concept of whether it's a "sensitive" day or not. I have also run into situations where I was followed or ambushed. However under Teacher's benevolent protection, they all failed. I truly came to feel, "When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide" ("The Master-Disciple Bond")

Especially right before the Beijing Olympics, the evil CCP was scared to death. They tried to use all kind of base methods. However, because I clarified the truth, some people followed me so they could quit the evil CCP organizations. Another person ran away because of my strong righteous thoughts. I went to a spot where the local community management committee was set up to track down practitioners. I sent forth righteous thoughts. People who were there on duty were frozen. They couldn't move until I left.

I sent forth righteous thoughts toward plainclothes police officers to stop them from committing wrongdoings. I exposed their real identities. One of them opened the vehicle and put on his police uniform. I clarified the truth about Falun Gong and its persecution to every person I ran into holding the evil CCP flag. When they understood the truth, they all wanted to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. My logic was very simple, "Teacher's words are Fa. We practitioners must follow it. Nothing can stop that and we must do it well. And we don't want any arrangement that is not arranged by Teacher. Sentient beings are to be saved by Dafa, and whoever practitioners run into is a person with a predestined relationship. No matter whether they are good or evil, we should give them chance to be saved. I never think about how high my level is or whether anything can hinder me from elevating myself. Teacher knows me the best, and I trust Teacher to arrange everything for me, which would be the most suitable and best arrangement."

Today I have the opportunity to write my experience report to share with fellow practitioners. I am so fortunate. I want to tell Teacher to rest assured that I will walk the final leg of my journey well, save as many people as possible, get rid of my attachments, be diligent at all times, and be a very qualified Fa-rectification period Dafa practitioner.

(1) Amulets -- In China, practitioners sometimes "clarify the truth" by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
