The Awakening of a Dafa Practitioner's Husband

I am a Dafa practitioner's husband. In the past few years, because I was poisoned by the lies of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I often cursed and beat my wife to stop her from practicing Falun Dafa. I even tried to force her to divorce me. Regardless of my unfair treatment, she has never fought back or quarreled with me. She has always tried to talk to me patiently. She strictly follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance taught by Falun Dafa, and always fulfills her responsibilities as a wife and mother. Although she has gone through many rough times, she has never agreed to divorce me. Despite the fact that she treated me well, I was never satisfied.

Good or evil will invite its own retribution. This is a heavenly principle. Now I believe it, because I have personally experienced the truth of this many times. Some time ago, after I harshly insulted her, I suddenly felt powerless and weak. I became numb, and couldn't walk. Although I was hospitalized, I constantly had to take medicine to maintain good health. At that time, I still didn't realize the "retribution" principle was at work and continued to create troubles for her, especially when she tried to clarify the truth to others.

It was not until October 2008, when my old illness relapsed, that I was truly awakened to my wrongdoings. I enlightened that it was divine intervention that had warned me not to do bad things. I also came to a clearer understanding of the wickedness of the CCP and its use of deceptive tactics on the TV to deceive the masses. Most importantly, I came to understand the boundless compassion and dignity of Dafa.

I was finally awakened, and I quit the CCP's Young Pioneers organization. I was determined to repent of my former wrongdoings. One time when I went to buy something, I found some money on the ground that belonged to an elderly man. Immediately I recalled Falun Dafa's teaching of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I waited for the man to come back and returned the money to him. I truly felt the peace of mind that living like a good person brigns.

Falun Dafa teaches people how to become good people. It is indeed paramount. If everyone practices Falun Dafa, there will be no robbery, stealing, or fraud. Society and public safety will naturally become better.

Finally, I hope all kindhearted people will be awakened. I hope that the police and anyone that is still participating in the persecution of Dafa and Dafa practitioners stop what they are doing immediately. Your lives belong to you. We are on the brink of the demise of the CCP. Whoever chooses to sell his soul to the CCP will be buried with it. I have come to a deep understanding that cherishing others' lives is cherishing our lives. My sincerest wish is that everyone carefully examines things and judges clearly in order to choose a brighter future.
