Many Practitioners in Shangqiu, Henan Province, Have Been Illegal Sentenced

(Clearwisdom.net) CCP officials with the 610 Office, the Political and Judiciary Committee, the Public Security Bureau, the Procuratorate, and the Courts in Shangqiu, Henan Province, cooperated with each other to illegally sentence Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Ba Wei, Ms. He Yinghua, Sun Xiuying, Wang Xiulan, Tao Jingjun, and Zhou Pingping. Practitioners Ms. Chen Chunyan and Ms. Pang Yan were sent from Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp to Shangqiu; Ms. Zhou Xuening from the Shandong No. 2 Forced Labor Camp and Ms. Zhou Pingping and Ms. He Yinghua from the Shandong No. 1 Women's Forced Labor Camp were sent to Pingtai Detention Center in Shangqiu. They were all eventually sentenced.

Departments involved in persecuting them included the Henan Province 610 Office, the Political and Judiciary Committee, the 610 Office, the court and the Shanqiu Procuratorate, the National Security Team in Suiyang, etc.

On April 6, 2008, Mr. Ba Wei and Ms. He Yinghua from Shangqiu, Henan Province, were arrested by police from the national security team in the Mudan District, Heze, Shandong Province, when they were trying to rescue other practitioners from Dan County, Shandong Province. This was believed to have been a premeditated arrest, since family members of the arrested practitioners were persecuted and then cooperated with CCP agents. That night, Ms. He escaped with righteous thoughts. Mr. Ba, Mr. Lao Zhou, and other practitioners were sent to the No. 2 Forced Labor Camp of Shandong Province on May 5. Mr. Ba was sentenced to a forced labor camp for two years.

On the afternoon of April 7, Ms. Chen Chunyan, Ms. Pang Yan, and Ms. He Yinghua were arrested in the Yuchen Segment on the 310 National Road by patrols and taken to the Yucheng National Security Team. Ms. He was sentenced to a forced labor camp in Shandong for three years. On May 15, Ms. Pang and Ms. Chen were both sent to Zhengzhou Shibalihe Women's Forced Labor Camp for a year and a half.

On June 25, Mr. Ba Wei was brought back to Shangqiu by police from the national security team in the Suiyang District of Shangqiu. They planned to persecute him further and confiscated over 100,000 yuan from his bank account. On the morning of June 29, Mr. Ba escaped with righteous thoughts. CCP agents frantically tried to search for him. On the afternoon of July 21, they arrested practitioner Sun Xiuying in a rented apartment. On July 23, they arrested Mr. Ba again. At the same time, another practitioner, Tao, from Minquan County, who was homeless, got arrested, as well 14-year-old Linlin. Currently Linlin has already been taken home by her grandma, but her father, Mr. Lao Zhou, and mother, Ms. He Yinghua, had already been arrested. The police seized computers and printers worth over ten thousand yuan.

After planning for four months, the 610 Office and national security team in Shangqiu, together with the national security team in the Suiyang District, persecuted the local practitioners even further. On September 26, practitioner Zhi Yongping from Shandong, who was been sentenced to a forced labor camp, along with practitioners Ms. He Yinghua and Mr. Lao Zhou from Shangqiu, were all sent back to Shangqiu. Ms. Chen Chunyan and Ms. Pang Yan were sent back to Shangqiu from Shibalihe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhengzhou. These eight practitioners were then "illegally sentenced" again.
