Many Practitioners Arrested Recently in Zhucheng City, Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Around the first of November in 2008, the Zhucheng City party secretary, Zou Qingzhong, received a phone call from a Falun Dafa practitioner who was clarifying the truth to him. He became very upset and ordered the police in his jurisdiction to severely persecute Falun Dafa practitioners through 2008. Many practitioners have since been arrested and subjected to brainwashing.

On the morning of November 3, 2008, Mr. Chen Bao'an, a surgeon employed by the Shiqiaozi Hospital was arrested by five or six officers. The police ransacked his home three times, and also ransacked his parents home. They confiscated his notebook computer, a printer and some informational materials.

On November 4, 2008, officers arrested Ms. Wang Minghua, who lives near Xinhua Village, Mizhou Community, and ransacked her home. On the same day, Ms. Li Yan, who is an employee of the Zhucheng Fertilizer Factory, was also arrested. Her family went to visit her recently and found that she has been severely tortured. She was unable stand on her own and was held up by two prisoners.

At around 7:30 a.m. on November 12, 2008, Mr. Wang Shuqing was arrested as he was leaving his apartment building. The police ransacked his home, the porch, and the storage area. In the past he was subjected to three years of forced labor at the Changle Forced Labor Camp. At 2:00 p.m. on November 14, 2008, the police ransacked his home again.

Police officers kicked open the door of Ms. Liu Xixiang's home, located in the Baiyushanzi Community, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 17, 2008. The officers arrested her and took many of her belongings. She had previously suffered three years of forced labor because she practices Falun Gong. Her husband was severely threatened and is now unable to work, and their child is still in middle school. The entire family relies on her work selling breakfast for their income.

On the evening of November 28, 2008, the police arrested Mr. Wang Cheng when he was returning home after work. Officers were waiting for him by the door to his home. They ransacked his home after forcing him to give them his key.

On the afternoon of December 2, 2008, the police arrested Ms. Yu Xiu'e and ransacked her home.

Ms. Zhang Zelan lives in the First Neighborhood of Mizhou Community. She had served three years of forced labor beginning in November 2000. At noon on October 10, 2008, police officers stormed into her home, ransacked the place and arrested her. She has begun a second forced labor term of 18 months which started on November 8.

A brainwashing center has been established in the Tongfang Hotel. Arresting officers covered practitioners' heads and handcuffed them during the arrest. Practitioners were unable to identify who was carrying out these arrests.
